I've been to this Hotworx prepandemic but not since new ownership. Mary Ann (I believe thats her name) was super nice and really passionate about the business and gave great information about the security in the facility. Since the place is 24hrs thats important to me. They have a security guard that patrols and a life alert-like system that you can activate if you feel like you need emergency assistance. I found out that they have aqua rowers and I couldn't wait to try them since I love rowing. The dual handles really provide more range of motion options for working out your arms. I loved it. I went in yesterday for my trial it was nice. The staff is nice. I did a thunder row class and a hot yoga. It's very hot!! I think it will be a great workout. It's very clean & organized It seems very secure. It is open 24 hours, only staffed 11-8. You get either a code or you can use your app to unlock the door. Everything seems very straightforward when it comes to using the rooms and machines. Cons- It's small. I'm 5 11 and I can't do a lot of the yoga stuff due to a lack of space. The walls are low & close, which is a little odd because in all of the informational videos they have way more than enough space. I definitely would not have three people in one room two is more than enough. When signing up it is a minimum 3 month plan. Also I did find it a little weird I went back & fourth with Hattie on the enrollment price. When I walked in the sign said $20 enrollment && I had spoken to someone on Saturday & asked her if the $20 enrollment included the mat & towel she told me yes. When it was time to sign up she said the $20 was over bc that was last month. I wasn't feeling to well so I was kind of out of it but I reminded her the sign outside literally says $20 enrollment. She said she would change it & did!! I also told her my cousin referred me, she told me they they don't do anything with referrals, as soon as I signed up and got the app they definitely do do something for referrals lol Also, as soon as I got home, I saw that the enrollment for the month is now 4$. So it was a little weird that she kept pushing the $99 enrollment when I was aware of the $20 and for the month of July they're doing a 4$ enrollment. Found this gym right near my house and am so glad. I signed up for a membership after trying one workout! I love it now and am obsessed with how time-saving the workouts are and how simple they are to book. ***Location: Right at the Perimeter near the Sandy Springs/Dunwoody line. I love that it is walking distance from my place, so I can get a mini warm up in, walking over to the place. I don't need parking, but there is a huge lot shared with all of the businesses in the shopping center and there are plenty of spots! ***Staff: The new owner, Ann Marie and the new manager, Hattie are both super nice! I hadn't heard of this place previously, as I recently moved to the area, but I see that there are lots of negative reviews from a while back, but glad to see that it is under new management and all of the staff is amazing and welcoming! They helped me get set up with my membership and walked me through everything and answered all of my questions. ***Experience: Great experience! I have been several times now and still need to try soo many of the workouts, but I really love the Hot Blast and have done that several times. I also like doing the Hot Yoga right after, to get a longer workout in, that is still way less time than I would have spent doing cardio and yoga in a traditional gym. When you sign up they show you how to login and use the app. It is super simple to book your time slots. Each room can fit up to 3 people, but I believe they are still only taking 2 per room for social distancing. You can see on the app though if anyone has already booked. I went very early the other morning and it was super nice because there was only one other person working out in a different room, so it was very nice to have the sauna room to myself. I also went before opening, so I used my code to get in. It is a 24 hour gym so it is perfect if you are looking to go really early or late! Each session starts on time. You can see the schedule times on the app, but the HIIT sessions are on 15 min loops and the Isometric on 30. You can go in, adjust the temp and just follow the workout that starts automatically on the screen. I love that it isn't intimidating and they show different options for different levels, but the added heat makes you sweat and you still get out of your house to go. I feel like fitness programs at home don't really keep you accountable, but here, you still go in and people could still potentially be in the room or walk by, so there is somewhat accountability to actually follow the routine, but no pressure to be perfect since it is just you and the screen. I definitely like that for the yoga. I am still learning all of the moves, so a couple of them still need work lol. ***Amenities: There are showers, water fountains, vending machines, towels, shelves for your things, lockers for rent, 24 hour access, and a whole workout section in the back where you can do cross training in addition to the sauna workouts! ***Prices: 59$ a month and when you sign up you pay 100$ which includes your mat and towel, which are very nice and you do need them so that they won't melt in the rooms. There are plenty of promotions throughout the year from what I see, so I think you can sometimes get a deal to sign up, but the price per month is not bad at all for a 24 hour gym that has classes + the infrared sauna aspect! ***Improvements: The only thing I don't like is that I find it hard to watch the screen in front of you when doing the yoga positions and I imagine it is the same for pilates, etc. But it isn't a huge deal if you go regularly, once you have the routine down, you won't need to really look to see how they are doing it, you can just listen. I do definitely like to book times when no one else is there though, to be sure at least for the yoga that I am in my own room! read more

Hotworx has been a great intro to a new workout program excited to start a new regimen.

Saw the HOTWORX ad on Facebook and decided to give the free session a try! I received a follow up message right away. Upon my first session I immediately knew I wanted to get a membership. I have a fully equipped gym in my own home so that should tell you a lot about how good my experience was. Hattie was a doll and allowed me to bring my partner the next day so we could get the experience together. Unfortunately, the workouts were too hard for him. He loved the facility and thought the idea was genius! $99 sign up fee, sweat here membership for $59, or the sweat everywhere for $79. Highly recommended for introverts, stay at home moms, work from home people, I want to sweat a lot without killing myself working out people! The workouts are amazing! read more

Cecilia has ruined this location for me. Enough said. I came here as a first timer not really knowing a lot about hotworks or what it is. She made me feel insecure, unwelcome, and frankly stupid. When I was asking her questions she couldn't even be asked to look away from her phone! When I left I was so upset about my interaction with her I tried to call to speak to the manager to see if I could try and come back again when she wasn't working since my friends had such a different experience and she answered the phone. I asked if I could speak to the manager and she said "I am the manager" in a different voice. I told her how she made me feel uncomfortable and asked if I could come back on a day she wasn't there and she called me the B word AND HUNG UP ON ME!!!! I could not believe it. I have no idea what I did to this person to deserve this treatment and I'm not sure what was wrong with her. But so long as Cecilia is at this location I will never be a Hotworkx customer. read more

I arrived 15 min early, as requested for my free trial workout. I received a call on my cellphone 8 mins before my scheduled workout to be notified that no trainer was available today . I understand things happen but you could have easily called my hours prior to tell me that. Customer service and customer experience is important to me. With that being said, I will not be back. Hopefully they figure out there staffing issues and notify potential clients in advance if trainers aren't available. I guess customer service doesn't exist anymore. read more

This place is great! The staff is super helpful and friendly. The amenities are great. Each workout is super fun and you can track/burn hundreds of calories in a lot of time. I love going early mornings or in the evenings after work. Not only do they have the sauna rooms with various workouts, there's a gym Wright weights, medicine balls, and 2 bathrooms. I love HOTWORX! I've tried all kinds of fitness classes (Pure Barre, OrangeTheory, etc), but this is my favorite by far. I get bored when I don't see results somewhat quickly. I've seen quicker results doing HOTWORX than I have with anything else. With the variety of classes, access to weights and other equipment, and affordability, you can't beat it! I'm sweating out toxins, getting toned, losing weight in less time than other workouts! read more

This establishment is so unprofessional! All they care about is money! They show no appreciation to members. My account was frozen and without notice they charged my bank account during Covid and refuse to issue a refund. They are unsympathetic to financial hardships. They never answer their emails, return phone calls or messages. It took weeks to finally get ahold of someone. Highly disappointed in this establishment.
