I was a college athlete, but the gym was never my strength and Dan and Vicki are excellent professionals who make sure each member of the group class gets the attention and help they need. From what myself and others see, Alex is a part time trainer and part time con artist who takes advantage of good people. He signs people up for a package of training sessions and then cancels and does not pay them back (including myself). The owner of Burg Fitness doesn't seem to care that they continue to support his shady activities and claims they know nothing about it, stating they think Alex is a great trainer. You shouldn't be supporting this man and his actions that are harming individuals in the process just to make money. Please consider doing the right thing!

This is perfect for people like me who like to do a lot of different workouts and switch between heated and non heated. The owner Danielle and all other instructors are so talented, kind and helpful and the classes are challenging but fun! Music is always on point too. What really keeps me coming back more than anything, though is the sense of belonging and community I feel every time I walk through the doors. Danielle and the other instructors have created an environment that naturally encourages people to connect and feel comfortable with each other and it shows! I have been going twice a week now since September and I am starting to see and feel my efforts pay off. I have lost 5lbs and I have increased my endurance on the treadmill. I typically do the evening 5:30lm class and/or a Saturday morning class and I love all the coaches! The coaches are really great about making sure you're doing the floor exercises properly and they provide clear explain actions of the exercises. I really love that I am able to get a TOTAL body workout in just under an hour; which makes this really easy to incorporate into my life. I can't say enough good things about the Orangetheory program, the coaches and staff. I would highly recommend giving this a try if you struggle with finding motivation to go to the gym on a regular basis. They have a wide range of class times available to fit just about anyones schedule.

When I was brand new all of the coaches would introduce themselves to me and even have everyone else introduce themselves. It made it more comfortable for me to get to know everyone and also feel like I was a part of their community right away. Plus during the workouts they give great feedback to make sure you have the right form and so that you can do the workout in a more efficient and safe way. They definitely make you want to push yourself more and do your best during the workouts. I recommend doing they're free intro class and checking it out. When COVID happen, they immediately started doing Zoom classes and made sure that we were all still part of a community that is focused towards fitness and supporting each other. The gym has also been clean and they done an amazing job at keeping social distance between members and cleaning up after each class.

The box: it is enormous! Tons of space so you never feel like you are on top of each other during a work out. They keep it VERY clean and have tons of nice/newer equipment. There is a small daycare space which is not regulated or monitored by anyone, but it is clean and there is a little fence if you bring a small child (I don't have kids so this is just an observation). They have 2 bathrooms/changing rooms which is plenty (no showers). They have a lot of classes, everyday of the week! Monday-Friday are the busiest days, but they have enough class options to fit most schedules. Coaching staff: this is an incredible bunch. The head coach, Darren, is the most energetic and positive human you could encounter. The entire staff is incredibly knowledgeable and professional. No matter how large the class size, you have consistent one-on-one style coaching to improve technique or to motivate your through the workout. While they are very encouraging, they are also very careful on how far they push you. They are all extremely cautious in your form and are advocates for you to perfect the movements before trying to lift heavier. This was the one part of crossfit that intimidated me at first, but if you are not able to do a movement they will have a scaled exercise for you to accomplish your goals. The members: what a friendly and welcoming group! From the first day I walked in, I felt like I was part of the family. There are all ages, body types, abilities and sizes and everyone is just SO darn encouraging. It makes for a competitive and wonderful workout atmosphere for anyone. If you are looking for a box or to give something new a whirl, this gym is great and I highly recommend giving it a try! I don't think you will be disappointed. If you are new to exercising or new to crossfit, don't worry because this group will ease you into a comfortable and great workout routine.
