Been meaning to stop in for a while. Today was a perfect day. We got a couple specialty coffees on cold one hot and they were delicious. Tried the stuffed French bread and chorizo taco plate. Food was quite good, but 40 min for breakfast is too long. Social hour in the kitchen though. If the workers were as interested in turning out good product in a timely fashion as they were visiting a cutting up, this place could be pretty good. This is a 1 and done for me. read more

It's a nice coffee shop and restaurant. They have a nice variety of breakfast choices. Everything I've tried was good. It's a small community kind of place. Last time I went, there was one other lady there and the man running it. We all talked to each other and had a nice conversation. read more

Delicious! I had the chocolate chip waffle and pumpkin spice latte. My husband had the Nutella waffle with an espresso. Sides of bacon. It was so good and the perfect portions!! This is a difficult one to review. I'll start with the 3 stars. The location is good. They are right off a Main Street square. You could start here and walk to the shops. The food was really good. Great flavor and fresh. Now the minus stars. The staff is not very friendly. I did not feel welcome and i felt like i was bothering them. And then the most irritating was waiting 45 full minutes for eggs. I don't wait for a Ruth's Chris steak that long!! It was frustrating but thank god it was good. Better than the other options. Know that going in and you'll have a better experience. read more

We waited exactly 41 minutes for our meal. After we were seated seven other people came in, one party with two people and a second party with five people. We inquired TWICE about our food. Both times told you were working on it. STILL no food. The final straw was when everyone else was served their meal except us. House of Brews is a great and inviting place to grab a cup of coffee! We stopped by after seeing other's reviews and were absolutely delighted we did! The owners know what they are doing! The time and attention they have put into their space creates a warm and friendly environment. The coffee was very delicious! The barista was super friendly and patient with us. She made several recommendations for drinks and did not disappoint. I have several food sensitivities and she was able to make suggestions avoiding them all. Ultimately, I had an iced coffee with coconut milk and toasted marshmallow flavoring. DELICIOUS!! I highly recommend you stop in and grab a drink. You will not be disappointed! read more

Get off the freeway for this one!! I didn't know a muffin could melt in your mouth but Brewed Octane proved it's possible. I stopped off 82 for a coffee and didn't feel like choking down a Starf---s drink, so I did a quick web search and found this gem! Dressed down like a quaint farmhouse would make it easy to drive right past this cafe, but that would be a shame. You will never meet a more professional crew or a better all-around product. I'm so glad I stopped off and met the warmest owners, the most perfectly delicious mocha latte (and no it did not burn my mouth like the national brand), and the best lemon poppyseed muffin I'd ever eaten in my life.
