The White Rabbit is a little hidden treasure, tucked away in rustic downtown Sherman, TX. It's not that far from the Oklahoma border, although some might consider it a far-flung exurb of Dallas. I honestly had trouble finding the place and nearly gave up. I'm glad I stuck with it and checked around the corner - that's where I found a super steep staircase leading to a magical coffeeshop space. The second floor has it all: creaky wooden floors, broad sunny windows, exposed brick walls, high ceilings, a counter full of quirky merchandise including stickers, jewelry, bookmarks and more. There's a rack of curated vintage clothes and a bookcase wall. So - the setting is amazing and this would be the perfect place to meet a friend, or settle in for an afternoon and get some work done. The menu is seasonal - I tried a latte and my friend tried an iced matcha - both were delicious! Really glad I took the time to check out this unique spot. read more

First time here, so I'll definitely update when/if I can return. First impression: uber cute decor, I love all the plants, there are books, children's books, and the bathroom is serene. Free water and bottomless coffee refill in the corner. They sell balms, stickers, clothes, and more. Prices are a little steep, especially with a farmers market across the street, but options are always a good thing. I ordered a large latte. The menu states flavors are an extra .50 in the menu book, but I was charged $1. (Just an observation that the prices may not be correct on yeh menu book) They ask for tips, but I wouldn't. They don't clean up, you take your cups and plates to the trash area. We ordered the tacos. It did take 25 minutes to get it and it was not busy. Our coffee was ready pretty quickly. I presume (wild guess) that the food fixer dude is not good with multi tasking, or his desire to serve is lacking. Anyways, the serving size was good! The tacos were warm on top, but the eggs were cold on bottom. Plus they really had no flavor. My latte was warm at best and the coffee was not strong? I would suggest switching brands. The hot cocoa my husband got WAS delicious and stayed hot in the travel cup... so maybe that would help in the latte arena. The coffee server was by far very friendly. Oh man, sad but I dont know that happened to this place... things have gone downhill. I had stopped coming here bc it started to suck... but since it is basically the only coffee house in Sherman, here I am again. Never again. Service is slow, drinks/orders are constantly messed up, drinks are a bit mediocre, and what the hell happened to their tacos!!! Not to mention they are often out of pastries and Eggs!! My husband literally just looked at me (man who is not hard to please) and said we are not coming here again. Needs better management... better staff... it seems like when they first opened the owners or managers were actually involved. read more

Located in downtown Sherman you might miss the coffee house if you haven't been there before, almost like a speakeasy. The shop is located on the 2nd floor of the building and you can take the stairs or the elevator. Service was excellent. The drink I went in for was not available, but the barista recommended an exceptional substitute. The espresso could be stronger but the flavor of the syrup was great and they offered filtered drinking water. The location is well lit, and is a good place to gather with friends or for an intimate coffee date. There is art showcased on the walls that add to the shop's appeal. They also carried a small amount of merchandise and had board games available to play if you choose to stay and enjoy your coffee. All in all, I would recommend The White Rabbit Coffee House and will be returning. read more

SUCH cute vibes and the workers there are so friendly. We made a pit stop here on our roadtrip to Arkansas and I am so glad we did over Starbucks. We had our dog who we were worried about leaving in the car and because their facility is on the 2nd floor, we didn't know if dogs were allowed.. anyways, the employees didn't have a problem and they were welcoming not only for our dog but even for our toddler who enjoyed the kid puzzles they had for him! This place is very comfortable. The coffee is very good, the burrito and tacos we had, were tasty, but sooo salty. The service was fine.

I think the people that rate this place highly may be wowed by the experience of a big-city smarmy coffee shop. $5.50 "bottomless" cup of coffee Premium coffee drinks up to $7.50! Art on the wall, and leather seats! Also, the blandest $4.50 breakfast tacos to be found in Texas. Really. Everything is priced like San Francisco, all here in cozy little Sherman. This might actually be the most expensive coffee shop in North Texas, and if it's not, then I don't want to know which one is. read more

I love this place!! The ambiance and most importantly the coffee is superb. The cafe is on the second floor, fyi! I ordered an iced latte and an iced chai. It was the most amazing iced latte I've ever had, hands down. (I added 2 packets of stevia) I was blown away by the flavor of the coffee beans. 20/10 must try! It was my first time trying an iced chai and I would definitely order it again if I wanted a non-coffee drink. Such a fun spot and a wonderful addition to downtown Sherman. We love coming to The White Rabbit for coffee and breakfast. The atmosphere is so inviting and warm, just what you want in a coffee shop! They put detail into everything from their menu and decor, down to the books, puzzles and activities for kids. I love that there's a variety of seating options depending on your company and the food and coffee is delicious! The breakfast tacos and bagel sandwich are some of our favorites along with an iced chai and their campfire cortado! They even have a nice selection for non-coffee drinkers. Wonderful frozen strawberry lemonade if you like something other then coffee.
