Michael gave me the best hair cut which is hard to do as cutting my hair is more like shaping a bonsai tree. Growth patterns in every which way, and cowlicks in the least expected places. It is a challenge shrub to cut and shape. And, Michael rose to the challenge with confidence and a terrific sense of humor. The style is professional when I need it to be and versatile so I can make it fun for less stuffy occasions! I recently went to another local Barber to get a hair cut, only because my guy was out of town. My experience there, let me know how great I have it, at Estetica's. Over priced and a rushed job is what other barber shops have been. At Estetica Arturo chargers about 16 for a men's haircut. A little more for a straight razor shave which is what I get. For one good ole Andrew Jackson, yes that's a twenty dollar bill, you can get the best hair cut you ever had. I get one twice a month myself. A nice tight clean cut taken off the sides with a razor and my beard trimmed and cut with a shampoo for twenty bucks. You can't beat it anywhere in town or out of town for that matter. Barbers here are attentive and listen to the clients needs and answer all questions one would have about new styles that are out. If you are a local or in town for a short while and in need of a trim I would highly recommend that you check this place out before going to other barber shops.

It was nice to get a haircut and beard trim just downstairs. I am retired now but still have Alvey cut my hair and beard at their new shop, called "The Shop" on second Street right next to "Lonies Market" or "Harvest Foods" or "Southgate Center Market. (It has had a lot of names) I've gotten to know the other barbers and see their work. It is always "top notch" and they all seem to give great attention to detail as Alvey always has with me. The atmosphere is casual and friendly with great comfortable furniture for the few minutes I have to wait when I'm early. I've even fallen asleep!! I really like their online appointment setting. The site works well and is quick and easy to set up. You even get an email reminder. I highly recommend "The Shop" for haircuts, beard trims, specialty haircuts I see others get that aren't for me (I'm old) and wouldn't have enough hair to get the "fade, Fade to Buzz, Sgt Stripes or whatever that some young guys get.
