These hearing aids are so much better then those sold in big box chain stores, which has no doctor of audiology present, and sell a standard hearing aid. Those were difficult to hear in a noisy area. My hearing aids are the state of the art programmed by a "doctor" for my particular hearing loss. I love these hearing aids in that they recharge in a charging base every night or, if I choose I could use batteries. I prefer when I travel to use batteries so I don't have to pack the small charging base. What I love about these hearing aids is if I am in a noisy room I can hear perfectly.! The way these hearing aids are designed is it cuts out back ground noise and focuses on the voices. I was in a gymnasium full of people yet I could hear perfectly the person I was having a conversation with. If you need a hearing aid they give a free 30 day trial. You can compare for your self. I love the clarity of sound. I love that I can adjust the sound through my cell phone. In addition I can listen to pod casts, music or radio through my ear piece. Again I had no idea what I was getting sold as this was my first time with hearing aids. I was told after some time if I wanted to change out for a different brand I could change. I asked to change but was urged by Ryan to keep what I had. After some time I said I wanted to change and was told it was too late. I was initially told I had a 3 year warranty and after told only one. After all I paid 3k for hearing aids and told I'd need to pay another 3k to get what I needed and told by Jay the owner that what I had was garbage and the would never have sold me them. They gave me…read morethe name of an audiologist in my area (Cosmetic Hearing Solutions in Annandale, VA) and helped me get an appointment set up. Once I went to the audiologist, it was basically not a lot different from previous similar visits: she did a hearing test, we discussed options, she adjusted my existing hearing aids in the meantime, and ordered new ones. There was a slight mishap when the new hearing aids arrived: the wrong one had accidentally been ordered; I'm not sure who was at fault. However, they let me know as soon as they realized the mistake, and rushed the correct order (at no extra cost to me) as I was going on vacation soon and wanted to have them before I left. The cost to me was probably about $1000-2000 less than retail, and the hearing aids have worked fine. So I'm satisfied.

Both times I have seen her, she has surprised me with her in-depth knowledge of symptoms and medications. She is very personable and easy to talk to. I feel like she actually listens to me and takes my thoughts and situations into consideration in the decision-making process. The office is really bright and nice, too. The staff were very friendly. I didn't have to wait too long. I also like that it is really easy to get to from I-15 or 7th E. I hate it when doctor appointments eat up your whole day. It's great to have one that's easy to get to and has plenty of parking. I'm a big fan and highly recommend!

I work during those hours and it is difficult for me to take time off work. I told the receptionist I would have to find a new doctor and she said "Ok, bye". Guess I'm finding a new doctor!
