If I could give more than 5 stars - I would! After a lot of careful researching to find myself the best surgeon for my facelift, I found Dr Thompson. He came highly recommended and I had to be absolutely sure that I was in good hands since my face isn't something I could easily hide if anything were to go wrong. I've watched a lot of documentaries and shows having to do with botched procedures that has had me a bit paranoid and extremely cautious to say the least. I had three procedures done on May 31st of this year: a forehead reduction, a blepharoplasty (to get rid of the droopy skin in my upper lids), and a facelift (to get rid of my jowls, double chin, and the loose wrinkly skin on my neck). I didn't have a lot of fat under my chin but my saliva glands were disproportionately large in comparison to my face. They hung lower than my jawline, making it look like a double chin. Some years before my facelift, I tried Kybella injections to get rid of the unsightly bulge, with no avail. Dr Thompson was able to shave off the bottom portion of the glands creating a much more defined contoured appearance between my jawline and neck. Another thing I'm happy about is that I no longer have to spend tons of money on lash extensions and time getting creative with eyeshadow to hide the droopiness that made me look tired all of the time. Now, my eyes look awake and full of life (like they did when I was young). My forehead reduction is something I wanted since high school and it helps so much. I don't look like I have a receding hairline anymore. I am forever grateful and couldn't be happier with my results. Dr Thompson has an artistic talent that literally erased more than 20 years off of my appearance. I'm turning 50 this month and everyone I've met since my surgery all say they thought I was in my mid-thirties. Even my dermatologist was impressed at how well my scars are hidden and are barely noticeable. He said he wouldn't have even noticed them if I hadn't pointed them out. He said he's pretty impressed. The complementary Botox, Hydro-facial, and Diamond Glow facial that came as an unexpected perk (following the facelift) is a good plus too. I've already taken advantage of them and my skin feels amazing. I want to give all the staff at Utah Facial Plastics a friendly shoutout too because they've all been so good to me and I appreciate everything they've done to help make things as smooth and painless as possible. Really good & chic medi spa for all things face. I asked of one of my friends where I should go for aesthetics. Her job is highly visible on camera so she's been to a lot of places and highly recommended UFP. UFP does everything from facials, chemical peels, Botox, fillers all the way to surgical options for face, nose, neck, and ear. I've been here a few times to look refreshed and results look natural. Nothing extensive. For those thinking about getting this done...Botox is not a moral failing and Alfie is good. For this visit I originally planned to do a hydra facial but it was double booked so I opted to try dermablade. Really enjoyed the dermablade facial. They shave away all the dead skin off, do a nice facial, and then apply tinted moisturizer. Expect some tingling but overall painless. It's a nice glow up and would get this again. read more

He understood exactly want I was hoping to accomplish and was able to address both my esthetic and breathing problems. I had a septorhinoplasty done by Dr Henstrom 3/2022 and I've been disappointed by the subsequent recovery and outcome. The day of surgery, there was a lot of pressure to come in earlier for the docs to finish the day sooner- you could feel the tension with the staff at Lakeview. Not a great confidence builder before going under. The anesthesiologist didn't inform me that he accidentally suctioned my uvula and I would later find a swollen/necrotic uvula- it healed but it took a couple weeks before I could swallow or breath without being in extreme pain. I know this wasn't Henstrom's fault, but when I brought it up in a follow up appt, he waved off the concern as a standard thing (it isn't, it rarely happens. I know from being a nurse and asking other anesthesiologists how likely it is). I am 15 months post surgery and 6 months in I noticed my nose was still swollen and crooked to the opposite side of where it was crooked before. It has not resolved, despite his injecting steroids on a monthly basis for 5 months now. Henstrom has acknowledged that it's swollen and crooked, that we will continue injections for the time being, that another surgery wouldn't be ideal, but necessary if I want it corrected. I typically wait an hour from our appointment time to see the doctor, which is incredibly frustrating, when the actual appt lasts 10 min max. I don't feel there was adequate information offered over billing and expenses, as I'm still working with the hospital over charges. I gave 2 stars, instead of 1 because I do love their aesthetic treatments and staff. I will say, they are pricey compared to an equally great aesthetic competitor like Elase and I've since moved to and utilize Elase instead for my needs. read more

I am so very happy that 2 years an internet search for scar revision brought me to Utah Facial Plastics and Dr. Scott Thompson and UFP...it has been a most blessed and wonderful journey since. I n 2021, Dr. Thompson just happened to have an opening to revise a scar on my lip from a fall. He did an incredible job and meeting him and learning more about him and UFP, led me to consider other procedures which I ended up having done on 7/7/ 23. I waited 8 months for the surgery as Dr. Thompson is very busy and booked but it was so beyond worth it. I am 56 and had a sharp jawline, prominent deep set eyes, etc until menopause and in the matter of a couple years after, my face looked very different...I had some jowling, the fat pads around my eyes went away and my brows begin to sag. For myself and no one else, I wanted to get these things corrected at a relatively early age, so I could enjoy the results and not wait until things got worse. Dr. Thompson, Nicole my Patient Care Coordinator, Annie who took out my stitches and the others at UFP have been so incredible and better than I could have ever hoped for. Dr. Thompson was never, ever pushy...he never even really suggested any procedures per say, but listened to my concerns and then told me the best way to improve these things. He was always conservative, straightforward and easy to understand and told me what would best fit my needs. I actually ended up inquiring about an add on procedure or two to him that he agreed upon would be helpful for my overall goal. It really matters to him you are happy. He is a meticulous, compassionate and a genuis at what he does. He is double board certified in ENT surgery and facial plastic and reconstructive surgery. He and the other surgeons at UFP only work on faces which is what I wanted. I also love how has the experience and expertise to create a stunning but super natural result. I ended up electing to have a deep plane facelift, full face fat grafting a temporal/lateral brow lift and a lower skin pinch. I am 30 days out today and though still have a little bruising and swelling my results are just incredible...I will be glad to update this post in another month or two, so the full results can be appreciated., but I already look 10-15 years younger and achieved my goals. Dr. Thompson and all staff were there with me every step of the way and still continue to be as my healing continues. It was great too bc they have a Facelift Friend program where I was able to talk to someone who had surgery similar to mine prior to my surgery, which was very helpful. It also means a lot to me that UFP gives back to the community. In my my time leading up for surgery I did a lot of research adn learned that except during Covid, Dr. Thompson and some of his staff travel to Vietnam annually to do Microtia surgery on kids and adults. Microtia is a congenital deformity where a person is born with only part of or no outer ear. Dr. Thompson spends a week a year taking cartlidge from the ribs of children and adults he helps and crafting this into a perfect ear that is placed under the skin. There are great videos of this work on YouTube. It changes the lives of the people he does this for... His work has really changed my life too. It is nice to look in the mirror and like what I see again and it has been a great journey with him and UFP. I whole heartedly recommend UFP for any surgical or aesthetic needs and thank Dr. T and the crew for taking such good care of me. read more

I never leave reviews because I feel like that's a Karen move, but after giving it a couple days feel like other people could benefit from reading my review. I had the worst experience at the Draper location. I went to get Botox on my forehead and in between my eyebrows. I felt like I was at a car dealership trying to be up sold on an amount of Botox that I didn't need, nor was comfortable with. The esthetician told me that would take 37 units. I explained I had never had that many units nor did I want that much, because that would mean I would have to go up next time. I decided to just get my forehead done and go somewhere else where they will actually listen to me and get in between my eyebrows done with less units. When I told her that decision she then tried to talk me out of it because she doesn't recommend getting the forehead done without in between the eyebrows. I felt it was all about the money and not about my face or needs. I left frustrated by not being heard, talked down to, and paying for overpriced Botox. read more

She was also very fast (in the best way), but I also feel like she took her time and answered any questions I had. I would not go to Dr Henstrom for scar revision. I spent two years with him and his efforts to do something he wasn't experienced enough to do and instead of Dr Henstrom being honest and aware of his incapabilities he experienced on my face which in the end lead to more problems than not. Brittney is his assistant although she is fake nice she is a buffer for Henstrom. She just goes along with him regardless of right or wrong. She will side note that it has nothing to do with her but she still goes along with it. She will repeatedly apologize but it's a hollow attempt. When push comes to shove their is no accountability with Utah Facial Plastics. Pamela Howe will pretend to care and told me how sorry she was that she didn't know what was going and wanted to help me. But then pushed me off to a third party malpractice consultant who was unprofessional and useless. Who wouldn't even get me in to see her so called "professional" to see the work Dr Henstrom did and based their accountability solely off of Dr Henstroms pictures and notes. I asked her to let me see their "professional" who was reviewing the case and she denied it. Why wouldn't you want to see for yourself if you had good intentions to begin with. So their "professionals" opinion was based off Dr. Henstroms opinion. They denied all accountability due to this third party malpractice consultant. Brittney turned on me Pamela turned on me both of which promised they cared and wanted to make things right. I went to another Dr for the procedure and it was amazing the differences. The technique the attention to detail the time he put in. Only proved even more that Dr Henstrom had no idea what he was doing and was willing to experiment on a patient. Dr Henstrom is negligent and reckless.  Dr Henstrom is egotistical.  Does not listen to patience one bit how could he his ego is so loud.  He is "nice" that's about it. I expected Dr Henstrom to be accountable but he wasn't. I expected his staff to make him accountable where he wasn't and they only manipulated and lead me on. When Dr Henstrom is out of ideas on how to clean up his mess he will leave you high and dry. He will have no problem lying to you if he doesn't want to take accountability and his staff will follow suit. Be mindful of the procedures you go to this office for. They are apparently experienced in some areas and far from it on others and they will not be honest about which is which. If I wanted to vest my time in suing Dr. Henstrom and the whole business I would but they have already sucked enough of my energy in the 2 years I trusted them. read more

I really wanted to like this place, so it's unfortunate that the 4 times I've been here have all been poor/negative experiences. The first time was in 1/2021 for Botox, I went for 11 lines and to assist with symmetry issues amongst my eyebrows. This was my first time getting Botox knowing nothing about it and acting on a whim as I was feeling pretty insecure and wanting to do something dramatic as Botox about it... well, not only was I rushed and the whole procedure was less then 10 minutes, but the gal whose name is Lauren didn't even analyze or map my face to aim for the best results as far as my symmetry issues go. So the eyebrow that is the lowest is where she injected me! Further lowering the already low side in comparison to the high rise side which SHOULD have gotten the Botox! I didn't realize this until I got my eyebrows microbladed and my technician told me it shouldn't have been this way! What a COMPLETE bummer to have not been truly taken care of. They didn't even follow up with me or anything. My second time returning to this facility I had my first Hydrafacial, by Sarah. Sarah may have been nice... but she was getting over a sickness so she was constantly sneezing coughing blowing her nose and excusing herself, skimming over our whole procedure which felt rushed and not like the whole experience. Not to mention I could hardly notice any difference and felt like I wasted $200! It was not nice and I'd never recommend it. Huge bummer. Third time I went in was for a possible mole removal from my face but had decided it wouldn't be worth the scar, however the doctor was nice/friendly and complimented my shoes, making him more personable then the second doctor this fourth visit... Fourth visit was for a rhinoplasty consultation with doctor Thompson I believe (the taller doctor) and he didn't even shake my hand when he entered the room and his assistant and himself could really use something to help with their moods/energy such as Kratom or Feel Free tonics because man, were they unpleasant dense and unfriendly. My intuition warned me against the procedure based on energy alone otherwise the cost was looking great- will be looking elsewhere for a rhinoplasty by someone who I feel will really do the job well and Care. Obviously I'm not going to have some whatever doctor that doesn't have good energy work or much spirit for that matter, work on my face, Never returning to this place again. I had a very unpleasant experience with the front desk at this office. They seem unorganized in scheduling and offer poor customer service. When I was told my appointment was removed from the books (due to an error by one of their staff), I was asked to pay the cancellation fee of $50. I was on the phone with them for 30-45 minutes because I had to keep repeating why it was wrong to charge me for their error. I receive facials and many other treatments on a regular basis. After my experience with Draper Utah Facial Plastics, I highly emphasize going elsewhere for any type of Botox. To begin with, they blatantly lie about the number of vials you will be receiving after they are done (also, the worst attempt at Botox from Alfie that I've ever had). Switch to 3 years later (my visit was in 2019), I received a bill for the same amount I already paid for and for some reason, additional Botox I did not receive, to my home address 3 years later! I fail to understand what kind of plastic surgery office sends you a bill you already paid for with interest charges included 3 years later. The billing department seems to be managed by unprofessional individuals who refuse to do anything about their over-billing mistake. It's not difficult to spend your time and money elsewhere with a more professional service of Botox. read more

I love Utah facial plastics the staff is friendly and nice and Dr Henstrom is very thorough and always clearly communicates.
