Not impressed. I set an appointment at 1130am and left the car. Came back at 445pm (owner said he'd need it for 3hrs). He had one window started... The whole thing looks like the rush job it was for him to 8 windows done in 45 min. The tint is pulling up in 3 places AND he cut like 3 pieces short (not to mention slicing part of my weather stripping). I will take it in tomorrow and change the post if taken care of or add the pics of the work so you can decide for yourself

So I wanted to surprise my wife for her birthday and get her new car windows tented. Unfortunately it was the day after Memorial Day and I didn't realize every place I called either didn't answer or I had to make an appointment later in the week. I came to House of Shade in hopes they could help me out. The guy who helped me, I didn't catch his name, told me "I can get it done for you! No problem!!" Best thing I heard all day!! After looking around I can honest say taking my business to House Of Shades was the right choice. Not only was he able to squeeze me in. They did an amazing job on my Avalanche all 4 windows in about 90 minutes. Great pricing and quality work. Highly reccomended House of Shades. Already mami g plans on my other 2 vehicles to get done. Came to this place after having a bad experience at another shop down the street! I was greeted with respect, as any customer should expect . I was given a price the same as the other shop , for ceramic tint . As soon as I arrived my truck was started on . I didn't even have an appointment . The windows were done fast , they were done while I was writing my review on the other shop ! I highly recommend this place to any one wanting a great job done without any hassle from the workers ! I got all 4 windows and the back rear window tinted and they all came out perfect. Brought in my new Accord. Called them a day in advance and they were able to get me in w/o any problems. I'm very happy with the way the tint job turned out. I went with 25% all around and my car looks sleek. My tint came with lifetime warranty (and warranty paperwork in case a claim is needed). Price was fair and comparable to other shops in the area. I'm glad I came here and would recommend this shop to friends and family. Wait area is pretty comfortable, but expect about a 2 to 2.5 hour wait. read more

Superb result with SunTek ceramic - really enhances the look of my salsa red VW Beetle - pleased I went with the darkest tint for the rear and sides. The other great reviews say everything & I concur totally. The price seems very fair considering top-of-the-range product and that another firm quoted a similar price 8 years ago! Set an appointment to get the windows tinted in my new to me car. Although I have no experience with tinting windows, it seems to be a top shelf install - the completely removed the passenger door windows which I thought was good to make sure the entire window was done and no sliver of light coming through the bottom. They were more than willing to let me watch the instal which I thought was cool as well. Best thing is both the install and materials are guaranteed for life! read more

Took my first car they had it over night and into the NEXT DAY at 6pm just to tint windows . Gave them a second try with a new car i got it had Been there since 11am till 8 pm no calls no updates .. I don't understand why they take so long like we have time or are able to have rides ready to go at any given time.. Went to house of shades to get my windows tinted. JJ (the owner) and his associate Daniel did a great job on my car. The guys are knowledgeable and answered any questions that I had regarding what % to put on my car. Took my car in at 9am and they had it done in about an hour. The waiting room is nice and cool (air conditioned). I like the displays of the film color when you walk in the door. The guys make you feel welcomed when you first walk in. Will definitely bring any future cars to JJ for window tinting. The prices were affordable!!! read more

Chose House of Shades strictly based off of Yelp reviews. No referrals or other opinions involved. I had 20% done on my front door windows of my F250 Super Duty truck. They got me in and out in under 40 minutes and did a fabulous job. i can't believe the difference it made in the appearance of my truck. Would go back to House of Shades in a heartbeat! read more

There's a lot that I'm going to cover here, but bear with me, as the details matter. (Please see the 15+ pictures I've posted along with video.) Our process started with shopping amongst the best vinyl wrap shops in the Central Valley. It came down to 3 places that we had to decide on how they can meet our needs for ALL of the above work. The intention was not to bounce between too many specialty garages which would create a delay of months. We selected Tint Pros for that reason alone. The next step was our personal delivery of ADRO parts in a massive crate directly from Irvine using my Lightning (what am I, Brian Earl Spilner or Brian O'Connor in this story?!) Alex looked over the wares with us and was delighted to see we bought high quality parts. (He isn't the first garage to fear people coming in with TEMU/Alibaba. Beware, consumers!) We both confirmed that the parts were in pristine condition and matched all stick fitment. We are ready to take our build to OEM PLUS mode. The ADRO front bumper was made out of Polypropylene and Tint Pros painted it Piano Black so that it can be more easily wrapped like the rest of the car. We had decided on EVOLV's Gloss SuperCandy Fire Red Vinyl for the wrap. This is a higher end wrap with technology that allows better application (which matters in the long run) along with a deep, metal fleck-like red that gives the impression of a 6-stage paint process. Time to completion once everything was together was 2 weeks. This included the spray PPF on the carbon fiber parts (paint protection spray), front grille install, yellow racing DRL lights, smoking the front headlights & rear taillights, wheel spacers, decal install, CF mirror caps, PPF to the front of the car and to the top carbon fiber roof, AND (lastly) ceramic coating the entire car. (Dang near bullet-proof.) For the cost versus the work requested, Tint Pros was the most reasonable and (in February 2026) they were holding a 4.9 stars with hundreds of reviews. Alex did a great job communicating progress, through call & text, progress pictures & video, and relaying any complications. We are wholly satisfied with the work and the 5-star project car completion from this team. Now onto wrapping my Lightning...!

When I spoke with them over the phone, it was easy to set up an appointment, they had openings and were available early. Staff was friendly, sorted me out on level of tint, and went right to work. The work looks excellent, and there is a lifetime warranty on it. Price was as promised. My only knock was that when the job finished they didn't let me know, so ended up waiting in their waiting area longer than needed to pick up. It wasn't done at the 1.5 hour promise time, no problem, I kept waiting. 60 min later is when I was when I got the keys & paid. Not exactly sure in that extra hour when the job finished. They were busy, I get it, but also your customers have things to do and are waiting. That's minor, and the only thing that stops me from a 5 start review. EDIT: Just to show I'm not just talking trash, when I got home, my wife was impressed with the look. When we get tint done on her car, I will take it to Tint Pros.

Wanting to give the tint company the benefit of the doubt, we brought the replacement window back to them for the second tint job. Unfortunately, within ONE HOUR of leaving their shop, the replacement window shattered again. The window had been properly transported and handled on our end, and there was no damage from loading or unloading the vehicle. Instead of taking any responsibility or even showing concern, the company immediately blamed us, became extremely unprofessional, and even cussed at us during the conversation. At no point did they try to help resolve the issue or stand behind their work. Accidents can happen, but customer service and accountability matter. Being treated disrespectfully and blamed for a repeat issue right after service was unacceptable. I would strongly recommend others think twice before trusting this company with expensive glass or tint work.

I'll take some of the responsibility for not asking for a written quote instead of relying on notes. This is a newer, family-run business, and Raymond clearly takes pride in his work and shop. I Just had 3 of my vehicles done here. They work with your schedule. My Durango and Accord were brought in with out appointment they took it in and did a great job. For my CRV Jay Jay came all the way to Selma at my workplace for it. They are very friendly and care about getting the job done to your liking.
