The rental listing said that they accept large dogs. I went and visited the site and spoke with an Exit Right employee who told me that the dog was acceptable. Based on this information, we paid $76 to apply to rent the home, only to get a rejection letter that the dog was over the weight limit. I have tried reaching out to this company to find out why we weren't informed of the weight limit before sending them our money, our paystubs, our bank statements, and our W2s. Mr. Anthony Beharry then went in, changed the rental listings to reflect the weight limit, and responded stating that the weight limit is listed in the rental. Mr. Beharry and his whole team are scammy, underhanded, and disrespectful of your time and money. Find someone else.

We met with a few realtors and looked at a few houses, but we didn't find who or what we were looking for. We decided we needed to find a realtor that knew the area and could tell us about the character of the neighborhoods where we were searching. The Donna Kerr Group had some good reviews so we decided to give them a try. It's a small firm that really knows the Internet well. We sent a short email with our contact info, search area, and basic wish list. We immediately got a response from Donna, who referred us to Lewis Temple. Lewis came to meet us at our condo, and had in hand a binder he made for us of areas we should look at, graphs showing property values, school ratings, etc. So we decided that we'd let him show us some things and go from there. Lewis and the Donna Kerr Group do this amazing thing; they set up an Internet search with your specific requests and desired locations. All you have to do is sort the properties into three categories: yes, no, and maybe. We clicked and sorted and came up with a very, very long list. Lewis helped us narrow down our choices; he has an extensive knowledge of the metro DC area, various neighborhoods, and even local realtors, builders, and contractors. We spent a few afternoons driving around with Lewis and looking at homes. Lewis was patient with us as a picked our way through a large list of homes, telling a little history of the neighborhoods and showing us the local haunts. After a month of searching we found our dream home! Lewis helped us put our offer together, and I can now say that we are very proud homeowners. He helped us find exactly what we were looking for in a home and neighborhood that we love. Lewis stood by us through the whole process. As a side note, Lewis is also a master electrician and was able to point to details in the construction of the homes we looked at that even our home inspector missed. Next it was time to sell the small condo we called home for so many years. Lewis sent in his expert, Cara, who told us exactly what to do to de-clutter and stage our condo. She even picked out paint colors for us, and found a painter who could come that same week. Once we de-cluttered and had a little touch up painting done, Cara came back and took the most amazing photos of our condo. The condo was on the market the next day with a perfect description, her beautiful photos, and an open house that weekend. Our condo was under contract at asking price unbelievably fast, less than one month after we listed it. They even designed a unique website for our listing! We have now settled into our beautiful new home and absolutely love it. I can't express how great our experience with this team of service-oriented professionals has been. They are very, very good at their jobs, and they are wonderful people. I recommend that if you are looking to buy and/or sell your home you try Lewis Temple and the Donna Kerr Group!

I sold my house using Rob Spicer's services and could not be more pleased. He has a fee structure that is unlike all other real estate agents in the area and it allowed me to save several thousand dollars in the sale of my house. His website lists his services and fee schedule, which is customized to the needs of a client. I chose "Option I" which essentially had a $495 fee and 1% commission. Most other real estate agents were 3 or 4% commission, so this was a significant reduction in price. Rob was extremely professional, has excellent knowledge of the market, and is well-educated on real estate laws, local ordinances, etc. He allowed me to be in charge and yet was involved as much as I needed. Judi Shields was very involved with her personal life to adequately represent me. She was busy with…read morea family wedding and unavailable for days at a time and did not explain the addendum's she had me sign, costing me an extra half of a percent in commission. Additionally she left the country during the sale of the house and never told me that she was thousands of miles away for the closing. She said she had "other commitments and would be available by phone for the closing"! In fact, she was in a time zone seven hours ahead of Eastern Time and not readily available at all. She left Dan Metcalf in charge and if I called him, he would tell me that he wasn't the listing broker. The pièce de resistance was him leaving a message with the Title Closing Officer that I "wasn't nice" I have a photo of the message if anyone wants to contact me privately to see it. These people were supposed to be representing me! I had some questions the night before closing and instead of speaking to me, Judi & Tamar responded by threatening me with legal action accusing me of being in breach of contract if I didn't go to the closing in the morning. Gali, the supposed owner, left me a text message or email while I was driving to the closing asking if I was going to the closing and if she should come. I saw it when I arrived at the closing. I responded immediately that I was at the closing. She called a little while later screaming at me that her time was valuable and did I want her to come from Takoma Park to Rockville. I said I did. By the time she arrived the closing was finishing up. She did not say one word to me and no one from this group got in touch to even offer congratulations on the sale of the home. I strongly suggest that you look elsewhere for an agent. They are only interested in cashing your check
