When I walked into the store, no one greeted me, which was a little odd. I went on to try on shoes and found one that I like but that they didn't have in my size. They offered to order it. I went ahead and paid and ordered my shoes. I don't mind waiting. They told me it would be in in 1-2 weeks. I came back two weeks later and it still wasn't in. All they said was that the "shipment hadn't arrived and that they would ask the owner." They already had my phone number, so i assumed I would be called if there was an issue. I was patient as I understand that things happen. I stopped by after three weeks and the shoes still weren't in. They gave me the "backorder" statement again. That is ok, but as a local business you need to take care of your customers. I don't care that there is a problem but you need to call and let the individual know and offer them another shoe. I was so upset with my experience that I got my refund and will never recommend this store to anyone. A loyal customer will pay more and wait a little longer if you treat them right. This store, however did not. They will never receive my business again.

She told me about this place, so I figured I'd give it a try. I honestly thought it was probably going to be pretty expensive to get them fixed. The owner is super personable, got them done really quick, and his prices are very reasonable. The bottom was coming off, so he glued it back into place and replaced the bottom of the heel. He did such an amazing job! I'm happy with how they turned out and definitely glad I brought them here. I would recommend this place if you need your boots or shoes repaired.

I take my time (days or weeks) making bigger purchases and they are very patient with me as well as informative. I have purchased fly fishing gear and flies, a bicycle and cycling equipment, as well as performance clothing from MSL. If I was a backpacker, this would be my primary source of gear. Most of the products are premium brands so they can be a bit more expensive than Dick's or some other chain. If you want to buy quality gear from a local shop, consider MSL.

Since my work hours coincide with the store hours and I live out-of-town, they even offered to mail them to me when they come in.
