Horrible podiatrist--does not listen, only knows textbook protocols and is very money hungry. The receptionist was very nice and competent, too bad the doctor was not!

He is such a great Doctor as well as a terrific surgeon. 6 weeks later I'm walking on my foot like nothing happened. I HIGHLY recommend Dr Kannengieser as well as the whole practice. I am now going to another podiatrist to fix one they botched. The female doesn't know what she's doing but at least put novacaine in my toe. The guy was more knowledgeable but cut my nail before the novacaine kicked in. On the floor was other peoples pieces of nails and toes I didn't want to take my shoes off. Clean a little before the next patient. The office double booked me one day and I had to come back. its like they have two offices to make money but not enough staff.

As I recently fractured my ankle (very slick of me, I know), I was on crutches. When I entered the waiting room there were wheel chairs waiting to be used! The clerk came around and helped me into a wheel chair despite my trying to protest lol. There is also a plethora of free snacks in a basket on the counter! Enjoy! Would give negative stars if I could. Been going here for…read morethe last 10 months because of excruciating foot pain. For 10 months they tried shots and steroids, and wanted me to try orthotics and shockwave therapy. I agreed to the orthotics because everything else hadn't worked (after wasting time and money going to appointments telling me to come back on two weeks if ____ didn't work). Had a few days where my pain shot up from a 9 to a 15 on the pain scale while waiting for my orthotics and decided to go to a different office. Immediately my new doctor recommended I get an MRI because he was worried I had a tear in my plantar fascia and that my problem was NOT just heel spurs like Dr. Siegel and Berlin had seen on my x-ray. Sure enough, I had a partial tear and after 4 weeks in a walking boot and in PT, I am PAIN FREE!!! All that time and money wasted when they could have sent me for an MRI from the start!! Besides that, the billing/scheduling department here is HORRENDOUS!!!! They are constantly "losing" payments (thank god for bank statements!!) and I've had to cancel the same appointment numerous times because they never cancelled it when I first called!! Also, the older blonde woman in the office is the WORST human on the face of the planet. She has no compassion for people and looks down her nose at patients. She thinks her shit doesn't stink for whatever reason and isn't willing to help with any situation, just leaves it for the poor kids behind the desk. 10 out of 10 do NOT recommend this place. I trusted these doctors to help me, and instead they saw me as an easy meal ticket.

At 5:15pm I inquired form the receptionist as to when I would be seen as my appt was at 4:30pm. She very nonchalantly stated , "well, you're the last appointment." I again said my appt was at 4:30pm. No answer from her. I was not given a time frame as to when I would be taken. So I explained I would be leaving and again she stated "okay" I walked out. I worked in the medical field as an RN for years. If a doctor was delayed we would let the patients know and ask if they wanted to wait or reschedule. It was the patient option. This was a very poor first impression for a new patient. So while I understand Dr. Taormino is very good I will not return. Front desk staff actions and impressions are very important.
