We have used cleaning services before and this one by far is a gem. I wanted to write this review to sing her praises and at the same time, didnt want to share what we found. . I love my dog, but she has some aromas that I absolutely do not love. I had asked Brea to add floor polishing and sofa cleaning to my package which I already felt was well priced for everything she was planning to do. I don't know how she did it, but she managed to remove all of Penelope's fur, and my floors were absolutely gleaming. Not only that, she had cleaned every single baseboard and my ceiling fans until they were unrecognizable. Brea left me with more than just a clean home. She left me with a fresh slate. I was quoted nearly $600 for what was described as an in-depth, all-day deep cleaning. On the day of the appointment, I made the mistake of giving them lockbox access because I was running behind. I arrived 40 minutes later to find a toddler inside my million-dollar home, throwing monster trucks onto custom cabinetry and bamboo floors. I was shocked. I don't have children, and the idea of a toddler being in my home--both for the safety of my property and the child--was completely unacceptable. The owner tried to smooth things over but offered no discount or acknowledgment of how inappropriate and unprofessional this was. They came back to "redo" the cleaning, and within just a few hours they claimed they were done. Dust behind the toilets was still there. They insisted I check everything on the spot, but anyone who has ever moved knows that you cannot catch every detail when you're juggling a dozen tasks--especially when you're paying professionals to handle it. When my partner arrived, she opened the microwave and oven. Both were still dirty, and with nothing more than a damp paper towel, everything wiped clean effortlessly. That alone told me the job had not been done properly the first--or second--time. I paid them just to be done with the situation, but looking back, I shouldn't have paid the owner anything. From what I understand, she charges an outrageous amount and only pays the cleaners around $100 each, which is incredibly unfair. On top of all that, I was informed that wiping the exterior windows was "extra," even at a $600 price tag. They ended up doing it, but at that point it was clear nothing was really included. In the end, I was left with stress, disappointment, and a home that was barely surface-cleaned, certainly not deep-cleaned. Seriously!? How are you taking on new clients and you just said you had to cut back? I was a bi-weekly cleaning that transitioned to weekly cleaning while the kids were out for summer and was to return to bi-weekly when school started in August.
