Rec Nation bought the storage complex on Garret Rd on the east side of Houston. They are a terrible service organization. They added a gate that looks like a 9 year old built it. I was only in and out of the facility 3 times since they took over and the gate only worked once. When they needed to do work in the stalls they sent emails out to come remove the locks. I did not have time to run across town so they cut off my old lock... no big deal. They put a combo lock on and sent the code... cool. The one shot I had this entire summer to use my boat I could not get in my stall. The combination they originally sent got amended with a new one prior to the day I showed up. I used the new one that they had sent... it was wrong. I put in the combination, my sone did it then my daughter did it... pushed and pulled on the lock to no avail. We tried the first code to see... that did not work. The following Monday I get a call from some service person who tells me the combo was right you just had to pull hard on it. These locks are brand new so I said you are a liar straight up. The day I was there I was angry and pulled plenty hard. I have since been to clear out my stall and move my boat somewhere else and the lock works perfectly with a gentle push then pull like most locks of this type. I sent an email cancelling my lease and they have instigated a 30 day notice so I got stuck with a month that I wont use. When I called to verify what was going on I talked to some call center in South Africa.
