First of all, I want to say my mom LOVES her doctor. She's been going to Dr. Buencamino for many…read moreyears. I took her in last week for her check-up. Dr. Buencamino definitely has good bedside manner and is super attentive with my mom. You can tell she really cares about her patients. Here is my hang up: there are tons of medical surveys to fill out. My mom needs assistance to fill out these surveys. The questions are very repetitive and reiterated. Also, there was a test that wasn't given to her on her scheduled visit. My mom received a call from Dr. Buencamino's office that same afternoon to come in the following day to take the test. Right now my mom is unable to drive so my brother had to drive her. When she arrived, she went to the lab and no one was informed about the test my mom was supposed to take. The lab called Dr. Buencamino's office several times in the course of 45 minutes and no one answered. I'm not sure if they were out to lunch or what was going on. My mom ended up getting dismissed to go home. This past week she received a letter that the test had not been taken and is necessary. They requested for her to come back to the KS building immediately. My mom is completely frustrated over the lack of organization within Dr. Buencamino's office. She has not had any issues with them but somehow they are dropping the ball over this test. It should've been given to her on her check-up! Hopefully we get some answers this week.

I came here to meet with Dr. Nguyen. I made an appointment with the office a week before. The office staff was okay. They looked hectic and busy. I came in 15 mins earlier than my actual appointment to fill out new patient papers. I waited 10 mins before I got called in. Dr. Nguyen took time to listen, ask questions and explain my issues and symptoms. She is very caring and professional doctor that took the time to explain everything. Overall it was a good experience.

They changed the Patient Portal without providing access to the new portal, make you sit on hold to make an appointment (while the on-hold message tells you to make an appointment through the portal) and then hang up without answering (after considerable wait). Why bother having a medical practice if you don't want to see any patients? I'll go somewhere else and forego the additional headache.

When I got to the office the receptionist told me she did not think my insurance would be good but she would check. After 45 minutes, I asked how much longer before I saw the doctor. She said there still was no response about the insurance. I did not get to see Dr. Balasubramanian. If the insurance was not accepted, why not call me before I made a trip to the office. I guess I am back to a new doctor at Genesis Medical Group. BTW...I have used this insurance with hospitals, surgeons, heart specialists and other doctors all around Houston with no issues.

Where do I start! I was referred to this clinic because I needed to do my check up. I go there and…read morethe experience was ok. The people were polite (during face to face interaction). That isn't my problem with this clinic. They sent me to Labcorp to get my blood drawn which was their first mistake because I have Aetna, Labcorp sent me to Quest Diagnostics because my insurance doesn't cover their services. So I called Avenue 360 back and asked what was going on and they said "that is correct sir and sorry for the mishap, please go to Quest Diagnostics." So I go there and complete what lab work I needed done. That isn't my issue either, I understand people may over look things and make mistakes. Everyone is human. However, Avenue 360 Health is TERRIBLE at communicating and giving call backs. I have been calling for the last 3 days and every time the clerk who answers the phone tells me the doctor will give you a call back. So I finally get in contact with the doctor today and she's talking to me non-chalantly, giving me one word answers, not explaining herself, asking me questions that have nothing to do with why I'm calling or the situation at hand. EVEN offered me to go to another clinic for whatever reason which would mean I would have to do this scenario all over again. Then she finishes by saying "I'll give you a call back", so then I asked what is the number that I can directly reach you, so then she asks me in a smart way "well what number did you call?" So I asked back, that isn't what I asked, I asked what is the best number I can contact you at. Her name is Sandra and this is terrible service, I wish I could go somewhere else!!! Stay far away from this location.
