She is smart and very astute--she really pays attention to you as a person and takes her time to talk through what's going on. As someone mentioned, she does have a medical home fee (which IS listed prominently on her website, by the way) and that fee is something becoming more common with doctors today. Why? Insurance has not only run up costs for consumers but for practitioners as well. That fee ensures that she has the bandwidth to care for her patient load. While I'm not someone who loves to part with my money, I welcome this commitment to her practice because it ensures that our doctor can do their job without financial and logistical barriers.

When I went to my first appt with her last month, everyone in front of me in line was saying they called several times and no one would call them back. We are all people needing medical help and the staff is basically refusing it. I suggest going elsewhere because it's not worth it, no matter how good the doctor is, because you won't be able to make an appointment to follow up. This must be illegal in some way to go to an assessment visit but never be able to follow up because the staff don't even respond to you. Seriously, I've been in tears both times I've tried to make an appt.

She just reviewed the questionnaire and asked some follow-up questions. She charged it as sick visit and annual prevention exam. She refused to change it after I contacted her. I called billing department, told them it is medical billing frauds and I will report it to the board. Then the charge was dropped immediately.
