Horrible experience. Went in for ablasian of varicose veins. This treatment is a 4 day procedure,…read moreunder local anesthetic. The procedure lasts just a few minutes. Was told the worst part of the procedure is administering the anesthetic, because it burns a little, and having to wear the support stockings for two weeks. Day one, not so bad. Just a little pressure. Day two was more painful. But day 3 & 4 were an absolute nightmare! On Day 3, I expressed to Dr. Fox that it is was very painful, and he said he would add more anesthetic. The last day? Horrible! I told Dr. Fox before the procedure that he hurt me the day before, and could he please use more of the anesthetic before starting. He said he would, but it was awful! I felt everything! I cried out in pain, and he didn't stop. Kept right on going. I will never let Dr. Fox touch me again. I did let the staff know. Both his assistant and the PA both were very kind and apologetic. But neither seemed very surprised. Maybe they were just being "professional" or maybe they've heard this before. IDK I just wanted to warn any other potential clients.

Unbelievably awful experience. I had procedures done there about three years ago and still have…read morevisible scars. One area on my leg developed major inflammation afterward, yet they offered no follow-up care or concern for my well-being. I truly feel they overtreated me just to bill insurance for unnecessary procedures. It also seemed suspicious that they wouldn't allow me to take photos or videos during the leg scans -- that should've been my red flag to walk out. I regret not trusting my instincts, especially now that I see others have had similarly terrible experiences. Before their procedures, I never had inner leg pain -- only mild discomfort on the outer sides. After they performed ablations on my inner saphenous and lower saphenous veins, my circulation actually got worse for nearly two years. They sold me on the idea that I could return to work the same day, but the pain was so severe that I was sometimes in tears trying to stand on my feet. On some days, the only way I could keep working was by elevating the treated leg while standing -- it was traumatic and exhausting. To make things worse, the doctor who began my treatments retired just a month or two later, leaving me with no continuity of care and no concern from the clinic. Overall, my experience with Texas Vein and Wellness was deeply disappointing and damaging -- both physically and emotionally.

In addition, everyone I know who has had back surgery complains for years about the ongoing pain. Needless to say, the day arrived for my surgery and I was petrified. Dr. Roeser, Board Certified in Neurosurgery and graduated from Baylor Medical School with High Honors, was very reassuring and calming which really gave me confidence in Dr. Roeser and the procedure. Once I woke up from the anesthesia I could not believe that the surgery had already taken place. My friends had also forewarned me that within a few days, when the anesthesia wears off, I would experience severe pain. I experienced a low grade pain that was easily abated with my ibuprofen for arthritis. I was provided with a walker that I only needed to use for a couple of days. Now I realize why Dr. Roeser had been so highly recommended by several doctors. After my personal experience with him I can understand the reason he is so well regarded in the medical community. I thank Dr. Roeser for making my life so pain free. He is a fabulous surgeon!
