After a hip replacement, Aspire Home health sent Lauren P.T. to help me with in home physical therapy and get me to be able to attend physical therapy as an outpatient at a facility, a couple of times a week. There are not enough words in the dictionary to help me express my lifetime gratitude to this wonderful lady. Lauren is the most patient, positive, and kind person there could ever be. Her knowledge and expertise as well as her ability to praise and tutor me as a patient is worldly. She is genuine and complimentary yet all business where needed. Absolutely an angel. I'm…read morea RN and I was doing well taking care of myself.‍ Maybe a week after I returned home an Occupational Therapist came to make sure I could ambulate with all our stairs. He was very friendly, very new in his profession. A week later a woman came to take my vitals and write down my medications. Which had been done the week prior. A few weeks went by and I NEVER heard another thing from Aspire. I was actually doing well taking care of myself so I sent a note asking to D/C my service. I didn't hear anything for over a week. Then I get a text from " my patient advocate." Where has she been all month ? She was very friendly in her FIRST TEXT in a month. I responded and told her how I felt things were going. Immediately the tone had turned and I had " been dismissed verbally." Very short and curt response. What a great " patient advocate." I would NEVER RECOMMEND this HH agency unless there was absolutely no one else to care for you or your loved one !!

He quickly understood how easily my body reacts & was careful not to stir things up, while at the same time presenting ways to strengthen it. He has shown me, often in little ways, things to do to ease pain, that no one had told me about before...that have helped! He also suggested a home-help product I didn't think I needed (but turns out I do), that will help me shower more safely. I have been so impressed w/ everyone from Blossom Ridge. They took great care of my mom during her final days. Shannon, Angela, Michelle, Anastasia Keith (and Keith's son who popped in) treated her like a person although mom was incoherent. Carmel was amazing with her after she passed while getting her ready for transport. She spoke to her as if she was still with us, telling mom each step she was taking and keeping her dignity as she prepared her for her trip. I was impressed with the compassion each staff member had for the family as well as the patient. They asked what they could do for us as individuals. I also was touched with the fact that if the staff was at the facility checking on other patients, they took the time to stop and check on mom and the family. I had no idea that BHHH has so many resources to offer families who are going through the passing process. I highly recommend their services to anyone in need. Thank you so much BHHH.

Many, however, transferred to Butte Home Health so the transition has been good. The RN is the most important and crucial, right? We met Pamela for her first visit and it only took minutes to be comfortable again. She is the personification of excellence, and I feel my wife has a concierge doctor/nurse when she is here and an advocate for her health. Today, Butte authorized a portable oxygen machine so that we have some additional options to go out and about. From medication organization and ordering to specific needs, we have appreciated each person, from Shannon, the social worker, to Theresa in PT, Chaplain Hugh, we feel so lucky. If this review can help others, then it is worth the time to have done it. All companies will have similar manuals, but it will always be the people and the human touch that determines their effectiveness. Butte Home Health deserves a huge thank you.

Our health care provider gave us a list so I hopped on Yelp and took a look at some reviews. This one had such a high rating I had to read through the other reviews to be sure, but this was our first choice and we got it! This is not what I am used to in larger healthcare settings, but I am so glad that they aren't some super excessively large entity because the personal service we received was out of this world! Literally could not have asked for anything better in caring for our family. It started with our provider reaching out to their offices, shortly after that calls started coming in to deliver the bed and supplies (they use Hospice Source for equipment delivery - will pen another review for them specifically). Once we figured out what they do and don't provide we hopped on Amazon for anything else we didn't already have so we could be thoroughly prepared for our loved ones care. Intake Nurse was at our home shortly after our family member came home from the hospital. They hand you and informational booklet (handy way to keep everything organized and sorted) with homework assignments already inside for the funeral arrangements, general definitions, even a spot to write your entire care teams name and number so everyone in the home has access, etc. We even received a blue card to place on the fridge for contact information for our care team! Our private team was 2 nurses, an aide, social worker, chaplain and even a couple on-call/after hours nurses as needed too. Every one of these staff members we were assigned were absolutely phenomenal! Supreme service all around, if I had my own company I would extend each and every person that came in a job offer. They were THAT good. Hospice work is very tough to continuously be with people at often their lowest point or right before they pass away. With all the heightened emotions of the patient, family and their own personal lives.. you can imagine this is often a thankless job. We expressed our gratitude thoroughly to every one of our staff and I am writing this review to tell anyone reading to have some patience, compassion, and grace. THANK YOU Advanced Home Health & Hospice. No offense, but I hope I never need you again. If I do, you will be the first team I call or recommend to anyone in your service area.

Hilariously, if you get the Nursing "Supervisor" Serena Boorman, you will get to act as her therapist for the entire visit as she complains about her fibromyalgia and that her pain is worse than her clients but she can't get a diagnosis and is forced to use the Med-Spa in Chico for chelation therapy. You'll also get the random butt dial from her car during her road rage incidents. All that said, for Skilled Nursing, the nurses are excellent.
