I have had several positive experiences working with Dr. Gross and his office staff. I have had Dr. Gross consult on a breast augmentation and assist another surgeon with my case. I fully trust his expertise and would return to him if needed. I know several other women who have had breast augmentations, lifts, and tummy tucks done by Dr. Gross and they have been very satisfied. I also have seen him do Botox on a male patients face being very careful to not create unwanted eyebrow lifting. His placement is so spot on, you cannot even tell Botox had been done. I would steer clear of Dr. Gross for rhinoplasty. I consulted with Dr. Gross in 2017 for a primary rhinoplasty and went with him because of his warm demeanor and confidence. I wanted minor work done and he said it wasn't a problem. The surgery seemed to go well and I had minimal bruising and swelling. Upon cast removal, I could see my nose was clearly crooked but was told it was swelling and would go down. During a follow-up appointment a month or so later, I shared there was also an annoying and uncomfortable 'clicking' in my nose whenever I smiled. Dr. Gross told me he couldn't imagine what it was... but that now I had a "party trick." Fast forward 1 year, my nose is noticeably crooked to the point where friends and family are commenting. I went back to Dr. Gross who I had to convince that it was lop-sided. After some conversation, he agrees it is crooked and says I can either get fillers for the rest of my life "just like regular dentist checkups" or have a minor revision. I opted for the revision, which was done under local anesthesia. He cut up into my one nostril and removed some cartilage. I was awake to see him remove too much and then crush some to add it back in. 3 years later and my nose looks terrible. I've included photos in this post. I decide to go into another surgery with a rhinoplasty specialist to fix it. Post-surgery, my new doctor tells me he was shocked at how bad my nose looked internally and that Dr. Gross over reduced my nose and used questionable methods to compensate, which included leaving my left septum with almost zero cartilage. I don't normally write reviews, and hate writing negative ones. But I'm hoping I can save one person from the mess I went through and the thousands of dollars spent to fix it. read more

Dr Howard Gross did a fantastic job on my chin and nose just over two years ago. I had the procedure done with just over 1 year before my wedding, and I am so glad I did! My chin wasn't without some slight complications post op, that can occur to anyone with surgery, but I have zero regrets about the whole procedure and after time, everything healed in a lovely place and I am super happy with the results. I went into this thinking I just wanted my nose corrected, after years of thinking it was too big and feeling self conscious about the bump on my bridge. Dr Howard pointed out my small chin, and how it the imbalance made my nose appear larger than it probably was. Dr. Gross did my open rhinoplasty about 3 years ago. I had needed one for at last 30 years after falling as a child and smashing my nose to bits. Back then no one ever went to a doctor for these things and so for 30-plus years I lived life with about 50% smell and taste and zero airflow through my nose. Plus, I was absolutely terrified of general anesthesia (having had a bad experience at 16) and so the schnozz stayed with me for decades. The experience at Dr. Gross' office was remarkable. The pre-surgery chat with the anesthesiologist (Steve, I think) 100% put me at ease; the post-surgery recovery was fairly easy, and I love the results I got. Not only is my nose straight now, but I can actually breathe through it for the first time since I was 6 years old. The most amazing part however was the realization 3 days after surgery when maximum smell and taste returned for the first time. I was entirely confused at first - never having realized that I had a deficit in taste and smell. What an amazing result - something I hadn't counted on at all. Overall I'm extremely happy with the results. My nose is straight, looks natural, and is actually functional. Yes, I'm giving Dr. Howard Gross "5" stars. It's well deserved, after years of severe back pain I wanted the pain to subside enough where I could enjoy my retired years. Wish I went earlier because after I had breast reduction my quality of life got better. Its been 5 months I'm walking everyday, I'm off of pain meds, I've lost 40 lbs and riding my bike. My blood pressure is back to normal. Having breast reduction doesn't make you less of a woman it's freedom from constant neck/back pain and heavy support apparel. Date of Procedure: May 2021 Procedures: Breast Reduction, Liposuction (lower tummy / flank), Liposuction (double chin), and Lip Implants Initial Consultation: Scheduling a consultation was easy and the consultation itself was free of charge. I came prepared with questions about all of procedures I was thinking about having done, and Dr. Gross walked through each one in detail explaining what the procedure and recovery would entail. He was super patient with me and all of my questions. One thing I was really concerned about was finding a surgeon who would fully listen to what my goals were specifically for the breast reduction. I wanted to go down to a small B cup and needed someone who would do exactly what I was asking. Dr. Gross didn't try to talk me out of it (believe it or not, I had that experience at some other consultations), and walked me through how he would help me achieve that goal size. It was extremely refreshing and so I knew he would be the right choice to move forward. I was able to book the surgery at the consultation appointment. It required a $500 deposit and then the rest of the cost was due on a set date before the surgery. They offered financing options and did run my insurance (although I knew insurance wouldn't cover anything). If you want to get a procedure done, be prepared to finance and/or pay out of pocket. We were able to schedule the surgery within 8 weeks of the consultation, which was awesome because I was SO ready to have this done! Jennifer was the staff member I worked most closely with to book the consultation and the surgery. I cannot say enough great things about her - she was extremely helpful and knowledgable about everything. She shared my excitement about the breast reduction and that felt great as well. I could call her anytime with any questions and she was ready with the answers! Weeks Leading Up to Surgery: I was mailed a surgery preparation packet with instructions for pre- and post- op care. I was told to review and then had a phone appointment with Jennifer to discuss all the instructions and get my questions answered. This was super helpful and I felt like I always had support every step of the way. During this timeframe I also got my payments ready and submitted them by the due date. Day of Surgery: The staff at the surgical arts center where I had my procedure done (right next door to Dr. Gross's office) were kind and calm and helpful. I showed up feeling pretty nervous, but they put me in comfortable dressings, gave me extra blankets and got me prepped for surgery. Dr. Gross came to mark up the surgical areas and answer my questions before I got moved to the OR as well. In total there was less than an hour between when I arrived and when I was put under / surgery began. I appreciated the quick turn around and it went really smoothly. Post-Op / Recovery: Because I was given such through post-op instructions, I knew exactly what to expect when I woke up from surgery and the rest of that day / days immediately following. My friends who helped take care of me the days following surgery also had reviewed all the post-op instructions, so everything went really well. The night of my surgery while I was at home, one of the areas started bleeding a bit and I asked my brother to call Dr. Gross because it was making me nervous. Dr. Gross called us back within 10 minutes and explained what was happening/put us at ease. I was really glad to have picked a surgeon who was so responsive! I had a follow up appointment the day after surgery and then another one for 1 week after. This was extremely helpful as I knew that Dr. Gross would be checking everything regularly to make sure things were healing correctly and there were no complications. I had additional follow up appointments at I believe 6 weeks and then 6 months. Jennifer and Dr. Gross were and still are available at any time however to answer questions via phone call, and I've always been encouraged to make an appointment at any time if anything comes up. I just had my 6 month check up (it is Nov 2021) and there were some stitches that didn't quite heal right (nothing major, they just didn't fully dissolve). Dr. Gross was able to fix it right then and there at my 6 month check up. He also has continuously offered to fix any abnormalities with the liposuction settling / anything else along the stitching of my breasts if needed. Just as a side note - full recovery from all procedures for me happened at about 3-4 months. Understand this may vary but I wanted to share my experience. Super quick turn around and I am EXTREMELY happy with my results! Especially getting a breast reduction, you want a surgeon who is going to listen to you in regards to what size you would like to achieve. Dr. Gross completely understood what I was asking for and I get emotional thinking about how I waited so long to get this surgery! It has changed my life and I couldn't be more grateful. read more

The second I hit puberty my breasts went from an A cup to a G cup basically overnight. My entire adolescence I was sexualized and objectified on a daily basis at an extremely young age by much older men. A couple years ago I had to have a breast surgery to correct a contracture . I wouldn't say I'm thrilled with the results, but they are not bad either. My last two implants were two different sizes, now I have the same size implant in both breast and one is larger then the other. While not bad, I think they could be better, but this is my third surgery on this area, so I won't say this is due to Dr. Gross. He is very nice and friendly , but also didn't listen to my post- op concerns, that combined with me feeling VERY uncomfortable with his office staff, especially his office manager made me not want to go back to discuss anything further. I told the office they took my toe rings off right before my surgery, and they forgot to give them back to me. They took them off in operating room . They told me this was not true and that I lost them. Any concern I had was put back on me, it was my body, or I lost the toe rings. I won't go on, but I would not recommend this office. read more
