I would give 5 stars but I'm so fed up with the following that I'm only giving 3 stars in hopes my plea gets listened to. The building elevators continue to be awful. I have been coming to 1635 GM Dr. ever since it opened in the mid 1990s and the elevators have been terrible for all 3 decades. One of the two elevators is often out of service - ridiculously frequently. Additionally, the elevators are really slow-moving, further sapping efficiency. As such, when an elevator - yet again - goes on the blink, eliminating 50% of elevator capacity (when they really should have originally built 3 or more elevators), it's guaranteed that patients will be chronically late. For themselves, their staff and their patients, I urge APC and other buikding tenants to unify and demand the owner/management company do MUCH better than they have to date by replacing the terrible-from-the-start-but-getting-even-worse elevators. Bite the bullet with patients having to take alternate elevators for a week or so for the swap out, but replace the dysfunctional elevators now.

I've been a patient of Dr. Walsh's for five years now. I appreciate his focus on preventative…read moremedicine, and his excellent bedside manner. I don't have particularly complicated medical problems, but when I do bring a concern he resolves it without provoking unnecessary anxiety. He's also referred me to a couple excellent specialists, both of whom spoke very highly of him as a primary care physician. Only point for improvement (and this has nothing to do with Dr. Walsh himself, and everything to do with VHC's scheduling staff) would be a little more flexibility with scheduling annual wellness exams. It's easy to get a 15-minute appointment for a concern that arises during the year, but the 30-minute annual wellness exam has to be scheduled a year in advance. If you cancel your wellness exam for any reason, then you can't get another one until a year after the date on which you cancel your original appointment. That's completely okay, and that's why I make extra efforts to keep my appointments--I figure a cancellation on my end is my fault. But if the doctor has to cancel for any reason (and there are lots of good reasons that he might have to cancel), then the scheduling team kicks you to the back of the line, more than a year from the date on which they cancel your appointment. This happened to me recently, and caused me to miss the annual wellness screening I had scheduled for January 2026. The first available make-up appointment was November 2026. Dr. Walsh is a great doctor and totally worth the wait, and since I have only minor medical issues that I can monitor on my own I'm just going to use blood tests at CVS in the interim. And again, this is a criticism of the admin team and not Dr. Walsh.

Dr. Haque knows her business and is a great diagnostician. She has good relationships with other doctors and when she has to refer you out, she does not hesitate to do so. There are many PCP's who like to try and be a one stop shop for any problem you have. Sometimes they can be, but other times they should not be. Dr. Haque clearly is a MD who will work with other physicans if she feels you need to have an issue looked into further. My whole family has moved to Dr. Haque. I have a kidney transplant and I found that Dr. Haque works with my nephrologist in case something is needed. I have, in the past gone to different PCP's and not all of them would work with my nephrologist. Dr. Haque is thorough, she asks questions, and she has gotten to know my whole family and after my visit, she always asks how they are. I have never had a problem with the office staff. I have called on the same day for an appointment and they try their best to get me seen. I give her a 10.

The previous reviews are interesting because I'd had similar experiences at Dr. Haque's office…read more I'll first say that I fully agree that the PA, Jennifer, is outstanding. She's a real sweetheart - very patient, genuinely concerned, and knowledgeable PA. I think Dr. Haque is a very good doctor. She's very nice, seems to ask the correct questions and has consistently provided a correct diagnosis (which is a lot more than I can say for other doctors I've been to). If I'm sick, I trust her knowledge/experience to make the correct diagnosis and prescribe the best medicine to help me feel better... she's been my doctor for the past 8-9 years and I'm satisfied with her. With this said, there have been some issues. Multiple times when I've scheduled an appointment with Dr. Haque, I've ended up meeting with her PA, Jennifer, instead because Dr. Haque was unavailable. (As stated above Jennifer is an outstanding PA so didn't mind too much but if I've set an appointment with the doctor I expect to see the doctor.). There have even been 2-3 occasions when I've set an afternoon appointment with Dr. Haque and they say she's already left for the day so I have to meet with the PA. That strikes me as EXTREMELY unprofessional and is not something I've ever experienced with any other doctor. When I've met with Dr. Haque she's great and I've never had any issues with her... the problem is that if I set an appointment with her (especially an afternoon appointment), I can never be 100% certain she's actually be at that appointment. I'm a very patient person so have let a lot of this slide over the past few years but doubt many other people would find this acceptable. But at the end of the day I think Dr. Haque is a very good doctor and, again, I can't say enough good things about her PA Jennifer!!! UPDATE: Edited to add that while I think that Dr. Haque and Jennifer are good, much of their office staff is terrible in my opinion. There have been numerous times I call the office ahead of time to get needed referrals sent to another doctor I needed to see only to find that the REFERRAL WAS NEVER SENT when I showed up at the appointment with the other doctor, which is a real pain and extremely annoying. Overall, I don't think their office staff is very reliable - I've had multiple issues obtaining simple referrals and obtaining other basic information over the years.

It even smells nice! Dr. Ascunce took his time with me, very friendly and good sense of humor. He really put me at ease. The staff is friendly and efficient, very short wait to see the doctor. I understand that some patients might take more time than others. That's natural, we all like to have time to ask questions and not feel rushed. Very little paperwork, no portals to register on, what a relief to not rely on the internet to schedule, set appointments and get test results. The pre-test 'fast' was the best I've heard of, and definitely improved my well-being. It was a 5-day, so I wasn't (ahem) in the bathroom for hours like the majority of my friends reported after 24-hour fasts. It was difficult to give up fruits, nuts and seeds at first, a staple of my diet, but I was never starving and felt great after. It's a cleanse! He went over the test results with me after the procedure, no follow up needed (phew!). I absolutely recommend Dr. Ascunce and his staff at VHC. I hope they are still in practice in 5 years!

I needed a new…read morepractice to get a physical at and these guys took me with a 1.5week wait to see the PA (the wait for the real doctors was almost 4 months..ouch! Note to self, schedule in advance!) I arrived a few minutes after my first appointment because I was in the wrong building (it's 3833, not 3033..oops). The front desk ladies were SUPER nice (which blew me away, normally doctor office front desk people are awful, or at least cold) and took my printed insurance card with no issue. They were having problems with their scanner so the forms I sent ahead of time weren't in the system, but no biggie, they gave me a new set and I filled them out fairly quickly (for once didn't need to fill out the huge insurance part, woo!). All in all, great front desk experience. They explained the ID card they gave me and how their portal system works too. Sweet I saw one of the PAs for a physical and she was super nice and really explanative of what she was recommending for me to treat allergies and what normal blood tests she was recommending. I had a couple of questions for her and she was good at taking her time explaining her answers. I like doctors that do that versus just telling you something and moving on..it allows me to process things and use the information to make my own decisions as well. She also let me know that she'd follow up with me if any of my bloodwork came back abnormal. I thought she was great, but I tend to prefer PAs/Nurse Practitioners regardless..same credentials, just better human skills I find. My normal blood work was drawn right in the room, which definitely beat the normal routine of returning to the waiting room and signing up and waiting all over again. The check out was the only thing where there was a slight hang up. They gave me the appointment details (WIN! I like having this stuff for my own records) and a copy of prescriptions requested. I asked the doctor for prescriptions for OTC drugs so that I could use my HSA (you can use HSA to pay for some OTCs, but you have to have a written prescription). I guess she just wrote an electronic script and when I asked the check out desk folks for a written one, they tried to dismiss me and tell me that they couldn't take care of it. I explained that the doctor was okay with writing the scripts, but they have to be in paper and with a signature for me to submit to HSA for reimbursement. The lady said she had never heard about that, but I insisted (don't want to get whacked $15 for an over-the-phone Rx fill). She finally went and talked to the PA and she happily wrote out the scripts for me. Overall, I had a really pleasant experience. I was nervous based on the reviews here, but they seem to be a bit more admin-y. I just want a doctor's office that is warm and easy to schedule with and can see me when I have the sniffles. This seems to be it for now.

I called trying to get an appointment with my primary care physician, but the nurse on the phone told me my doctor wasn't available that day, but offered to schedule me with a Nurse Practitioner at another location instead. What she deliberately left out was that this other location would bill the visit as urgent/emergency care, turning what should have been a standard $30 copay into a surprise $200+ bill. If they had been honest and transparent about the massive cost difference, I would have waited a day or two to see my regular doctor. Instead, they took advantage of my vulnerability and pain to quietly route me into an overpriced visit without my informed consent. When I reached out to billing and customer support to explain the lack of disclosure, they refused to help or take accountability. It is heartbreaking and deeply infuriating to realize that a healthcare provider you trusted for years views its patients as an ATM rather than people needing care. Beware of their deceptive scheduling tactics. They do not care about your well-being--only what they can extract from your wallet when you are at your most vulnerable. I am officially taking my care elsewhere.
