While the front office staff are friendly, both the dentist and office manager handled my case unethically. They were aware that errors had been made but were evasive rather than transparent. As a result, I have spent over $10,000 on corrective treatment and follow-up visits. For anyone considering mercury filling removal, I would strongly urge caution. In my experience, the process caused more damage than benefit, and if you are asymptomatic, it may be best to leave fillings undisturbed. Some studies also suggest removal can increase mercury exposure rather than reduce it. One positive note is that he did successfully treat a cavitation that other dentists had been unable to diagnose. The office reimbursed a very small portion for his mistakes.

When I called the office twice to ask for my results one of the staff asked in an irritated tone why I was so concerned! I answered that a preliminary test suggested that I had thyroid cancer! Earlier that year the doctor never adjusted my thyroid meds and I experienced strong symptoms of hyperthyroidism...heart palpitations and hair loss. I also found my results on the portal and adjusted my own meds and consulted my GP since Dr P. couldn't fit me in. Also I was left on Metformin for a very long time without being informed of the side effects of long term use. I left this doc and now my GP manages my Endo needs.
