Today, we were luckily assigned with a lady named Yvette in the ER and she may have been the most pleasant person I've come in contact with yet in all my visits. The wait time Is always a negative no matter where you go. It's a hospital. Would you rather it that the lab techs are faster and more careless with your labs? When the EKG test was done, PA Carla Sine immediately ordered an ambulance, which was there in minutes and took me to Winchester Medical Center. Turned out I was not having the heart attack they feared MIGHT be happening, but atrial flutter, still a very serious condition. (The testing at EZCare also revealed I had Lyme disease, which may have caused the heart issue.) Thanks to Carla, Crystal, Brittany, and the whole staff, starting at the front desk. Hardy County is fortunate to have such a wonderful acute care resource in EZCare. Thanks also to the ambulance team of John Rice and Hunter -- they were just terrific!

I arrive on a Monday and was told that they didn't have a person to do the drug test so I made an appointment and left. I came the next day at my appointment of 11:10 am but didn't go in till around 11:50. The waiting room is spacious and clean. The staff is friendly and thorough. All in all, I had an ok experience here at MedExpress.

When we were taken into the exam room, the nurse took my mom's blood pressure, asked some questions, then went to bring the doctor in. We waited 20 plus minutes, then the doctor came in just to say we have to get a referral for X-rays at the diagnostic center ten minutes away, when we were told we could do the X-rays at this place. She told us if we wanted to do it here it would have to be at 2 pm. Then she got very disrespectful and raised her voice a bit and talked down to my mother like she was a child just because she wasn't pleased with the service so far. Very disgraceful behavior from a doctor when my mom was in immense nerve pain. Not only the complicated nonsense of going to an urgent care, paying $50 for co-pay, just to get sent somewhere else, but the horrible disrespect from the doctor. If there's one thing I don't tolerate from a medical practice is disrespect and attitudes instead of patience and empathy. Would not recommend this place at all or even return.
