It looked like she had never showered and she was very unkempt. She would only do half the therapy session and insisted on playing board games and nothing else.. This person would make fun of her boss (the owner) and complain about her pay during my child's therapy time. I got annoyed after a month and asked if we could change therapists. I then found out this person was not an ST but an assistant. I was then offered an actual speech therapist if I stayed. Because my child needed ST so badly, I agreed. During the first session with the new ST the owner walked in and confronted me which was very odd. The owner seemed to have some kind of psychological issue. Another month went by and I had an issue where I was called repeatedly at work by office staff yelling at me. I informed them they had the wrong client and information. I hung up and they would immeadiately call back. This went on through 3 consecutive calls. On the third back to back call I demanded that they stop calling me at my place of work and to take my child off the schedule. Please do not use this business. Unprofessional.

My daughter has a tendency to get easily distracted and she did wonderfully keeping her engaged yet still loving the therapy. In fact, my oldest daughter often wanted to join in on the fun. My daughter looked forward to her therapy each week and still asks when we can have Kelli come back. In addition to the in-person therapy, Kelli also provided us with fun exercises we could do on our own to supplement our learning and she also provided me support when working through an IEP re-evaluation. I couldn't ask for more!

But we did discuss perhaps occupational therapy to help her with feeding for future development. So we booked a few feeding OT sessions with Nadia and my daughter was in love with her from day 1. She was kind, patient and instantly connected with our daughter in trying to pin point the best way to encourage her to open up on how she interacts with food. Would highly recommend.

My son has been attending speech therapy sessions at Fairfax Pediatric Therapy since early January…read more He is almost 9 and has always struggled with his "s," "sh," and "ch" sounds - but we waited to see if he would grow out of it (he didn't). On recommendation of our dentist, we tried some videos to help him with speech, but we were not successful on our own. After a Zoom call with Ariel and Ahmad, the speech therapist, we felt very confident and comfortable with Fairfax Pediatric Therapy. After the first session, my son made huge strides in his "sh" sounds - he was actually able to articulate it correctly, even if it was a struggle. Long story short, as of today (3 months after starting) Finn has met all of his speech goals and no longer needs the services. Both Ahmad and Finn worked hard to make this happen - and in such a short time. I didn't expect progress so fast, to be honest. Not only that - my kiddo actually looked forward to the sessions. Ahmad took the time to get to know his interests - chess and strategy games - and built the sessions around play. When we left today, for the last time, Finn said he was going to miss his friend. Ashley speaks down to you condescendingly and they both spend an hour of "paperwork" time, which just means they waste an hour instead of doing therapy - but get paid for it!
