When we scheduled a closing date for October 30, they revealed on October 27 midday that they did not have the stock certificate or proprietary lease ready and needed 4-6 more weeks to process this! Clearly, they did not follow the proper protocol to order this when the contract was signed over 4.5 months prior. Chen's firm delayed my closing for over a month. At closing, the attorney was young and underprepared. He fumbled through presenting the documents and had to call his team for help to confirm the broker's fee. He even had to stay back after closing, after my lawyer and I already left, to organize his paperwork. Their conduct is unacceptable and, frankly, embarrassing.
