I contacted Bryan about the issues and set up more than 3 different appoints and no call no show every time and then he just flat out refused to return to repair his work. I would not recommend IWT for the simple fact that you can not rely on his word he has zero integrity. There is much more than what I have posted I wish he would have just returned to do his job but he refused to honor warranty or his word for that matter.

After professional cleanup, the headache of dealing with an insurance adjuster, and the due diligence of meeting with multiple contractors to get bids on putting the basement back together, we went with Rentz Remodeling and Contracting. And wow. The difference between someone like Matt Rentz and other contractors we've dealt with has been night and day. A selfish part of me wants to keep this knowledge to myself, in case we need him again, but he's too good NOT to share. First of all, his bid was extremely fair. Since we were dealing with repairs and not an elective home remodel, we didn't have a ton of money set aside. Just what was left of insurance after a not-great cleanup crew charged us through the nose. Matt detailed out everything he would do to fix the basement, with line items for both labor and cost of materials. There was no guessing or having to ask for more detail; he came prepared with paperwork and was always extremely open about what everything cost. Secondly, he and his crew were incredibly polite and professional. In a pandemic, having new people in your house is always a little anxiety-provoking. The first thing they did when they arrived is put up a plastic zip door between the basement stairs and the rest of the house. And they never came through it into the main house. We worked out a system where he would text if he needed to ask any questions, which meant I could go anywhere in the house without worrying that I couldn't hear them if they needed anything. But for the most part, they came and went according to the needs of the work, and I didn't have to do much of anything at all. Thirdly, Matt and his crew are not just great contractors, but good guys. We had a problem with the hose discharge line for our sump pump freezing over during a cold snap, so my husband had temporarily removed it. Matt noticed and pointed out that he'd seen excess water leak through basement walls before, and texted with me about potential solutions we could try ourselves to keep it functional through the winter. Not an upsell--but just because he had knowledge he thought we could use. I'd recommend Rentz Remodeling and Contracting to anyone. (I've already given his name to a few friends.) And the next time we need anything done around the house, these guys are at the top of my list. A++, 10/10.

We wanted a quality job and paint that could withstand cleaning and years of use before needing to…read morebe redone, so we chose three different painters to give us quotes. All seemed good, but we liked Tony's description of the way the work would progress, beginning with correcting some imperfections in the walls. Tony prepped the walls well before beginning the painting phase, and we appreciated the dust containment system that kept dust from coating everything in the house. The paint he used was top quality Sherwin-Williams that should be good for many years, and he did the neatest caulking of the baseboards that we had ever seen! Tony supervised the other men's painting and pointed out anything that he felt needed additional attention. They were a polite, friendly, decent-talking group and were immaculate in their clean up! When we decided that we wanted our front door painted differently from the original plan, Tony didn't complain about it and stuck with it to our satisfaction. The only reason for not giving 5 stars is that, despite emphasizing that I wanted semi-gloss paint in the kitchen, Tony chose a different type of paint which, though durable, is not what I requested.

We called, texted, and emailed them many, many times to get them to come back and finish the job. After 8 attempts going unanswered, the owner finally picked up the phone and arranged for someone to come out and finish the job. Nobody showed up! DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!
