Matt was courteous & knew what to do so it didn't take long for him to do the repairs. Leak fixed - for a reliable cost! I highly recommend Major Drain !!!

June 2026, I experienced a clogged drain again and immediately contacted Major Drain. Ryan and Chris arrived promptly and quickly diagnosed what needed to be done to unclear the clog. I wanted to ensure that the upstairs drains were thoroughly unclogged so had them cable the tub, master shower and main upstairs stack. They were very transparent about the additional cost and proceeded. I also had them look at the main entryway toilet that wasn't secured properly and they discovered the flange was cracked. They had a 2nd crew (Devon and Carter) who were plumbers who came out quickly to repair. I was happy with the results even though I had not budgeted for another plumbing expense since I had been preparing to remodel that bathroom, which is on hold for now. Approximately 10 days later, the same drain was clogged again. Major Drain honored their 90 day guarantee and Chris and Nate came out again and cleared the drain. They informed me that they did not discover anything out of the ordinary that would have caused it to clog up but did inform me that if it occurs again they suggested to have the line video inspected. I am praying that it doesn't happen again but fortunately Major Drain honors a 90 day guarantee. I am happy with the service and warranty that Major Drain provides. It seems like there are so many unethical and dishonest plumbers but feel I can trust Major Drain to be honest and transparent. I warn people to avoid other companies that advertise low cost to unclog drains because the majority of times when they come out they upsell additional services and substantially higher costs.

I called several plumbers, and Advantage was the only business that provided us with an estimate of the work's cost. The others all wanted to come see the job, provide a quote, and then we could decide to accept their proposal or send them walking. I wasn't looking for a firm quote; I just wanted an idea. Hugh from Advantage was polite, neat, and very efficient. The total cost was reasonable and lower than we had experienced with other plumbers for comparable work.

I had a great experience with Advantage Plumbing…read more Through Yelp, I requested help for a toilet and shut valve replacement. (The toilet has been having intermittent issues and needs replacement.) They immediately connected with me and offered to come out the same day (but I still had not gotten the new toilet.) We scheduled for the day after, and they were here by the promised time. The team quickly removed their shoes at the front door without being asked (not my general experience with many repair teams) and started working. They finished almost precisely at 90 minutes despite a minor complication. (The basement/toilet drain was not draining well which they augered out.) It was explained to me that it was likely a combination of time and a 20-year-old toilet (which did not generate enough force). Other than minimal dust and grime, they did not leave any bigger messes for me to clean up. They were professional, and their price was well aligned with other companies. They did not sell me on any additional service plans but did guarantee their service for a year. (There is a 4% for credit card transactions.)

You'd think a small town, small business would be helpful within their community. Wrong. Getting any information from this company is like pulling teeth. Project started 3/13/23 (initial date they came out to my home to scope out the problem) and as of 4/21/23 is still not anywhere near complete or even any further along than the work they started on 3/17/23. Excuse after excuse -- something different every week. Once I finally got fed up with reaching out, was done asking for a date the remaining work would start AND telling him I was moving on to another plumber, all he was interested in was money (almost 6 weeks later). Our initial conversation was that I would pay out of pocket for the repairs and get insurance involved if needed. Never was there any conversation up until 4/20/23 about paying for the remaining repairs upfront before they came back to finish. If payment was the reason for stringing me along for this long, why not draft up an agreement or have a conversation about that after week one when they knew the project was a big one?! After almost 6 weeks of this nonsense, you think I'm going to pay THOUSANDS of dollars up front and trust they will return to finish the job, you are mistaken. Had a second plumber come out to take a look today (4/21) and the first thing they advised was how unsanitary it was for anyone to be staying in the home -- No proper ventilation and exposed sewage being a major health hazard, yet Olson's was perfectly okay leaving open pipes and foundation for over 6 weeks expecting the home to be livable. I would NEVER recommend this company to my worst enemy.

He pays his employees $10.00 an hour while charging $65/plus an hour to his customers. Dave instructs employees to work steady but slow for safety. This equates to much larger labor bills for the customer. He charged a customer $600.00 for use of a backhoe for 10 minutes! He instructs his employees to drive 35 mph to and from worksites regardless of speed limits. I just passed one of his trucks last week - I wonder who the poor customer was paying that $65/hr (labor) drive at 30 mph in a 60 mph zone! Don't be surprised if his workers show up at 8 am, disappear at 9 am and don't return to 4 pm! Guess who pays for that??? Avoid this guy and his family company. I had a very messy toilet replaced, and the sweet guys who came to replace it didn't flinch, they cleaned up their mess, and what I considered mine too. We had some plumbing freeze and burst in a rental house, and these guys have made trip after trip out to fix things, without complaint, or over charging for time, materials or charging too much for fuel. They've even called to make sure if we wanted to bring in our own faucets, or purchase theirs. Some companies would automatically just put theirs in. The new toilet we had put in was a raised one for my disabled mother. We purchased it from them, and felt that the quality was far better then what we would have ended up with anywhere else. In our experience this is a very reliable company, and I would remind people that you get what you pay for. We have used other companies in the past and not always been satisfied, we have stuck with Johnson's because in the long run, their work stands up and their employees have great attitudes.

Their team initially installed piping incorrectly, which resulted in leaks and required them to return to fix their mistake. Later, we discovered they had also crossed the plumbing lines -- hot water came out of the cold side in both the shower and sink, and the toilet was flushing hot water. Correcting this error required a large hole to be cut into our brand-new drywall. After the finish work was completed, one of their employees called their CFO in front of us to confirm our final balance. Weeks later, we were suddenly told we owed hundreds of dollars more because they claimed I had made some sort of side "deal" with their plumber, which is absolutely false. Throughout the process, they provided multiple estimates and invoices that did not match the final amount they demanded. To make matters worse, they withheld payment to the contractor who repaired the drywall damage caused by their mistake until they received the additional money they claimed we owed. In the end, we were left paying out of pocket to repair damage caused entirely by their team's errors. Based on our experience, I would strongly caution others before hiring this company.
