Leaving yet another review. Company took my dead uncle's vehicle before my mother was done cleaning it out, and then openly said "when we came to your home to get the car, we came in the middle of the day, knocked on the door and got no answer when someone was obviously there... only then did we take the car back" FIRST OF ALL... I can SWEAR to you that no one was home. Just because there was a vehicle in the garage, you assumed that someone was home and that's an inconsiderate assumption to have. My mother works during the day M-F (which has been explained to you) and has 2 vehicles, so NO, no one was "obviously there." She was at work. Check the facts before you go overstepping boundaries. read more

Truck I purchased from here was a complete piece of garbage. Howorth offered ZERO assistance, ZERO allowance as a trade in but would GLADLY take it back AND report it a a repossession. Also paid off today and TITLE WAS NOT MADE AVAILABLE! I can only imagine what additional charges will be incurred to get the title read more

What you see is what you get. This is owned I think by a gal named Amy. She ain't one of those con artist like the Toyota dealership up toward Hudson Oaks, her price is exactly what she is asking, no sudden hidden cost. We bought a Toyota truck from them, and they did right by us. I would buy from them in the future. read more

Ty liked cars and trucks. Amy wanted to own/operate a business. We decided it was time for Ty to apply for his dealer license. We traded our motorcycle for a car hauler and used the $ Amy won on the game show: Wheel of Fortune for start-up expenses .....It was a perfect match to be entrepreneurs together and start a Car Dealership! Four years later, we have sold over 900 cars. Come be a customer with Howorth Auto Group!

Meet the Business Owner: Ty and Amy H.

Ty Howorth was raised in Aledo, Texas. Native to the back-roads of the Aledo countryside, Ty grew up racing motorcycles, entering car-audio competitions and learning about all sorts of makes and models of cars. Ty and his wife, Amy, have a blended family with 5 children. This Howorth crew loves spending time together attending auto shows, watching movies and finding new restaurants to enjoy together. Amy Howorth has over 20 years bookkeeping experience and has a creative and marketing background assisting Ty as co-owner of Howorth Auto Group. Organization, casting vision and developing procedures for the business are Amy's goals for this exciting business. Besides assisting with Ty at the dealership, she also enjoys playing the piano, watching movies with the family and taking a drive on the back-roads of Aledo and Annetta.

The salesman, Eli, was friendly initially, but then started oversharing personal details, including how much he paid for his personal cars, house, etc. It felt a bit off and detracted from the experience. When I declined the price of the car, Eli brought in his manager, Raymond. Raymond spoke very quickly and directed most of his conversation to my husband, even though I was the one making the purchase. I had to repeatedly steer the conversation back to me in order to discuss the car. Ultimately, the numbers he provided were higher than what Eli had offered. We ended up leaving without making a purchase and, based on this experience, we will not be returning.
