But not to worry, bigger isn't always better. The second thing I noticed was the display board that shows all the movie times was broken. Not to worry, I could always just take one of the sheets of paper detailing all the times. Ahh, none of these were left. I know understood why every other person was standing around looking at their phone; everyone was trying to figure out what movies were on! The staff didn't seem to notice what was happening. The theatre itself was fine. Smaller than other theatres I've been in, meaning it felt less cavernous when empty. The movie was good, sound was fine, and the chairs surprisingly comfortable. Adult tickets cost just $14.50, with concession from $10.50.

The smell is so overpowering in the cinema itself I had to sit with a scarf wrapped over my nose to be able to endure the film. Cinema screen and sound was fine, but for value for money on the coast, visit Cinemax in Kingscliff or The Regent at Murwillumbah - beautiful, independent cinemas with personality and charm.
