Oh my gee. This one is hot off the presses ladies and gents. Greensy is in the process of spiffying itself up. The movie theatre is getting up to play with the big boys. The reclining chairs are here! And Ben & Jerrys too! My word, I am surprised. So caught off guard, hearing from a whisper that Greensy had spruced itself up. So I went on my Saturday night and was shocked. What a transformation. If you are after foodie options before heading in, there are heaps from pho to dumplings to getting a mean burger and shake. The theatres all now have reclining seats. Sure they forgot about doing up the screens, so there is a larger projection, but I'll hand it to them with these nice seats. The theatres are small, and movie times can really vary, sometimes they have strange showing times for what your after. It's now been my go-to movie theatre, not only is it so close but with the refurb, they really did well to bring another reason to go to Greensy. Pro-tips: Tuesdays are cheap days with $13 tickets. There's free parking. Anyone with Optus as a provider can purchase Optus Perks tickets for $15. read more

The cinemas are a bit dated and needs an overall revamp. Some theatre rooms are more updated than others and the ones that aren't updated are super run down. Expect a bit of a sticky floor in some areas of the foyer which to me I guess is a symbol of a well used cinemas so not off putting. Close by and with the $11 tickets on Tuesday and Sunday it's a bit of a steal! read more

Hoyts Greensborough - Mm popcorn! - Cinema Near Me - Greensborough, VIC

We went to this cinema today to see passengers. It was by far the most expensive cinema I have ever been to in quiet some time. For 2 people, popcorn and one drink it cost $64. I failed to see justification, for that price, to see a movie these cinemas. Compared to readings at Epping where for half the price you can get the same 2 tickets and a large combo In a better atmosphere and much more comfortable seating. Would not recommend this cinema especially if you want to go out for under $100. read more
