I saw Dr. Dennise, and the whole visit felt rushed from start to finish. She told me I needed a root canal and had a cavity, which shocked me since I haven't had a cavity in many years. The cleaning itself didn't feel thorough at all -- definitely not like a proper cleaning I've had elsewhere. What concerned me most, however, was how quickly I was ushered into the financial office to discuss payments and scheduling. It seemed like the focus was more on locking me into costly treatments than on providing genuine care or taking the time to answer my questions. As a new patient, this left me feeling taken advantage of and honestly gave me the impression of a sales pitch rather than a medical visit. Because of this rushed and uncomfortable experience, I cannot recommend this dental office. Patients deserve thorough, honest, and patient-centered care, and unfortunately that was not what I experienced here.

I decided on Dr. Sokoloff because of his stellar reputation and his kind and positive manner. I appreciated the time he took to explain the entire process to myself and my children. The office staff made working with our insurance company and arranging a payment plan easy and stress free. Over the years we saw Dr. Sokoloff, he was professional, encouraging, and patient. When my daughter went through some unrelated health problems that affected her ability to stay on top of appointments, he was understanding, compassionate, and accommodating. He went out of his way to make the necessary changes needed to assure she stayed on track until completion, without any further burden to us. When my son was away and lost his retainers, the office found us a local orthodontist in another state that he could go to get scanned so he didn't have rush home or wait for replacements. The treatment plans were pretty similar, as were the prices, but Dr. Polan immediately put my daughter at ease, and me too as he explained in detail exactly the issues of her care. And that hasn't changed, every step of the way he's been accessible if we have any questions and always spends the time to answer them thoroughly. It's hard to figure out how he never seems to rush anyone, but he is always on time! We've never waited more than a couple minutes for our appt. A lot of credit has to be given to his staff, esp Regina and Peter who handle scheduling and are always a joy to work with. This practice really has the nicest staff anywhere! Almost 2 years later, my daughter's smile is looking great and we're super happy. Which is why our younger daughter just started her treatment here too!

My wife, my toddler and I go here and we all enjoy ourselves. The fact that my two year old was able to get through a teeth cleaning without shedding a single tear is a testament to their ability to work with little ones. I can't help but see the other low reviews on here. It seems their issues lie within not knowing their own insurance plans. You can't fault the practitioner for insurance issues.
