To add to the complexity of the project, John worked with us remotely from beginning to end, as we are on the mainland most of the year. John did an amazing job - just what we asked for - as he renovated all flooring, cabinetry, resurfaced and painted walls and ceilings, replaced all tile in the bath, had plumbing and new electrical routed as needed, and installed all new appliances, fixtures, doors, hardware and cabinetry. Again...all of this he did remotely as we communicated by phone, text, and photos. The entire renovation was completed on budget (taking into account a few changes we asked for mid-build) and on-time. When we finally were able to come out to Maui and visit the completed condo, it was great to see what a great job John had done. His attention to detail and getting all the facets of the job done right are greatly appreciated. As you can imagine, the 1970's developer did not choose the most premium windows to include in their project and over 50 years of sea air and wind have done a number on them--time to replace. We went to Pacific Source for a modern replacement. They are a Fleetwood Windows dealer. Fleetwood makes one of the best Class 1 anodized aluminum windows on the market--just what we needed for a coastal application. We had the help of both Gabe on the mainland and Logan on Maui to make our project a success. Gabe helped with the pricing and designing (all Fleetwood Windows are custom made). Logan met with our contractor at the job site to take detail measurements so the windows were manufactured properly; fit in our opening; and, were compatible with our interior louvered window shades. We ordered the windows in November. We wanted to install the following April. We were under no illusions. The pandemic & its problems, shipping log jams and supply chain issues were all working against us. However, Pacific Source & Fleetwood were able "get 'er done" and deliver the goods to Maui by the end of March, about 3 weeks prior to our contracted installation date. Our contractor did a yeoman's job of installing the new windows; patching the stucco wall; and, reinstalling our interior louvered shutters. Thanks to Pacific Source, Gabe & Logan, and our contractor, we are now the envy of our condo project. We would use Pacific Source again without reservations. Give them a try!

This order was placed at the end of September, with them giving our contractor the understanding that, give or take, the lead time was about 12 weeks. Now, after an incident on their end, one of the doors is delayed until end of January and the other doors are said to arrive mid January. While I understand that incidents happen, I find their unapologetic lack of accommodation and subpar customer support truly disconcerting. Will we get our doors in by the end of January.. who knows, after spending so much money with this company, I sure hope their product is worth the wait. Their prices aren't competitive, their communication on lead time is wrong, their customer service and support are lacking in a huge way, naturally I am worried about the product now, too.

Hubby bought stone chip for landscaping from this aggregate recycling business at a great price…read more You have to do the heavy work loading yourself or pay for a truck delivery so he got a workout which saved him having to go to the gym and $100 for delivery. Everyone at the depot has been nice during his 2 trips to collect enough stone for our needs. The stone chip is cheap as chips if you need some for landscaping or a driveway, $11 first load, $16 the second. I took a star off though as it STINKS of manure and chemicals, so now my house and garden stink too! Hoping it doesn't affect our plants as we are using it for ground cover over drainage in the garden. Either way, you can purchase at a great price and know that you are recycling too. Plus you can drop off there too, but call beforehand or take a look at their website to see what they accept.
