Coffee, cold brew, seltzer water and kombucha included in your membership. Very excited to go back to a space to work in temporarily until my offices open back up later this year. The desks are clean, lots of meeting space and phone booths are also very helpful to maintain privacy when needed. Parking is free at this north location and at the tour, no available single office spaces at the moment but you can get on a waitlist, but the all access pass is perfect for my convenience for when I need to get up and go. Membership will work at all WeWork locations and is extra nice to be fluid in where I want to work out of space wise on a day to day basis. Can't wait to scope out and sign up for an all access membership and try it out and get out of my house for a bit now that I'm fully vaccinated and ready to resume a sense of normal.

The company I work for relocated here from the Great Hills Regus last year. The property is…read morebeautiful and well-maintained. Our office is on the fifth floor. There are conference rooms available as well as multiple Suites. There are receptionists on duty and available during business hours. They're very friendly and accommodating if you need help. The kitchen is stocked with coffees of all variety which you can get from the community pot or an individual coffee maker for something more specialized in the way of hot beverages. Mail is delivered daily. I love the fact that there is not an area where you have to go unlock your mailbox but that all mail is delivered whether you're in that day or not to a designated desk in your space. I've come to love the concept of a virtual office. Any and all equipment is available for use without having to make a huge investment. Finally that but we are not responsible for maintenance and there's always someone right hand if you can't figure out how to put the paper in the right way to get it to come out of certain way at Cetra etc. Since I didn't come up in the electronic age I consider that very valuable. Many companies these days are similar to ours in that very little time is spent sitting in an office! It's a very practical way to have a gathering space without all the inevitable ties......

One star. Get every fee in writing before signing with Regus…read more I rented a private office for about a year. After the first year, Regus tried to increase my rate by roughly 43%, and the agreement also automatically renews for another full term unless you opt out within their required notice period. The bigger issue came when leaving. Regus assessed an approximately $800 "Office Restoration" fee. The House Rules containing this fee were not provided to me when I signed, and the fee was not listed with the rates and charges presented in my agreement. I disputed it and escalated through local management and the City Manager. Regus acknowledged that the local center does not maintain the historical versions of the House Rules from when I signed, but maintained that its newer rules apply. I was eventually told their decision was final. After I posted a public review, Regus corporate reopened the issue. They then pointed to the condition of the walls as a reason not to waive the fee. The issue they identified? Small nail holes from hanging approximately four pictures during a year in the office. I offered to pay the reasonable actual cost to fill and touch up the nail holes and asked Regus to explain how they justify an approximately $800 restoration charge. Rather than answer that question, corporate referred me back to the same City Manager who had already declared the matter closed. The office itself was fine. The billing practices and lack of transparency were not. Between the 43% renewal increase, automatic renewal provisions, undisclosed move-out fee, and the way this dispute has been handled, I would not use Regus again. If you do, save copies of every document and House Rule in effect on the day you sign and get every move-out fee confirmed in writing.

So I was amazed when I realized I have been working from this place every single day for over a year now and hadn't stopped to review it. Let's make this wrong a right, no? The best way for me to summarize Link is it's a place for grownups to come to work every day. By grown up, I mean in mentality, not age -- the people here are serious, kind, hardworking, compassionate, creative, and welcoming business owners that all thrive on productivity, flexibility, and a healthy dose of order. Before settling on Link, I toured a few other co-working joints in town and have come to the conclusion that co-working spaces fall into a variety of categories: 1.) Places where you can probably also buy weed, in addition to co-work. Nothing wrong with that if it's your thing. Just not mine. 2.) Places that are downtown and beautiful and fancy, but involve death by commuting, and also paying for a parking contract. 3.) Small houses on the east side, also really cool and inviting. I just don't have a fixed gear bike and enough kale chips in my pockets to feel at home. Still love you, my patchouli-loving gang of hippie coworkers. Liz and team run a tight ship, by which I mean she keeps the place clean, well maintained, welcoming, and professional -- with just the right amount of casual fun. I read the one-star review where someone complained about rules, and I can honestly say that the entire Link community does expect our co-working coworkers to be able to handle a basic set of rules -- and help keep the place profitable and sustainable by paying extremely reasonable fees for using the really nice resources put in place for us. Also, no food stealers, please. If you are looking for a place to steal sandwiches, you won't thrive here. A quick (and unofficial) test for if you will love Link, by me: Do you microwave fish every day for lunch? (Yes or No?) If you answered No, you will automatically love Link. No fish microwaving allowed. Link is made even better by tons of great places to eat within walking distance, a great coffee shop practically next door, a vibrant community of awesome professionals, and the Alamo freaking Drafthouse just steps away (just in case you sign a big deal and need to celebrate with a pint and a daytime monster invasion B-movie). Join the Link crew, you won't regret it. Unless you steal sandwiches. Then you will regret it big time.

To give some background on Industrious - it's a standard co-working setup similar to any WeWork with a long laundry list of amenities (although I've heard WeWork has recently cut back...). This includes morning bagels, all the caffeine you need, as well as 3 - 4 events a week that include standard happy hours, etc. Unlike WeWork, the atmosphere is a little more mature. If WeWork was a person, it'd be a right-out-of college grad that jams out to the EDM in the lobby. Industrious feels a little more like someone in their late 20s / early 30s that puts on elevator music or slow jazz in the lobby. Personally, WeWork felt perfect for a Silicon-Valley startup trying to drive that growth mentality, while Industrious felt better suited for a small professional services firm that would wear business casual to entertain clients on a regular basis. The pricing is comparable to other coworking spaces both in terms of membership and office space, although their membership options were somewhat restricted to keep the density manageable. Again, many thanks to Margaret and Andi who were always extremely on top of everything administrative and space-related - you can't go wrong with them having your back!

Whether you are there to work on your own, or network with others, this place is great. They have plenty of shared desk space and call booths on both floors. I end up coming here at least once a week, and plan on continuing that schedule for quite a while.
