I've been going to HQ for all of my chiropractic needs since 2015 or so. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience was disappointing enough that I feel compelled to share it. I scheduled an appointment for sudden lower back pain that started while I was simply putting on my shoe. I had not been involved in a car accident, had not fallen, and had not experienced any type of trauma. Because I was paying completely out of pocket, I wanted to understand the reasoning behind the recommendation for X-rays before agreeing to additional costs. I want to be very clear: I was not refusing treatment, arguing, or claiming to know more than the doctor. I was simply asking questions so I could make an informed decision about my care and my finances. Instead of feeling educated or reassured, I felt like my questions were met with frustration and defensiveness. At one point, I was told that I was questioning his medical opinion and was asked if I was a nurse because I was asking for clarification. That response was shocking to me. Patients have every right to ask questions about their treatment plan, especially when they are paying out of pocket. Asking for an explanation should not be viewed as disrespectful or challenging a provider's expertise. Rather than taking the time to explain why imaging was necessary in my specific situation, I felt like the conversation became focused on defending the recommendation instead of helping me understand it. I left with more questions than answers. I also felt that my concerns were repeatedly attributed to my weight rather than being addressed in the context of the actual symptoms that brought me in. While I understand that weight can impact overall health, I came in seeking help for sudden, severe pain--not to be made to feel like my weight was the automatic explanation for everything. What made the experience even more frustrating was hearing conversations in the office about keeping patients coming back, convincing patients to continue treatment, and making sure appointments were kept. Hearing that emphasis while simultaneously feeling dismissed for asking legitimate questions about my care left a very poor impression. The issue was never the recommendation for X-rays. Had the reasoning been explained respectfully and professionally, I may have completely understood and agreed. The issue was the attitude, communication, and the way I felt treated for simply wanting to understand my care before spending additional money. Patients deserve to feel heard, respected, and comfortable asking questions. Unfortunately, that was not my experience, and I left feeling judged, dismissed, and disappointed. I have so much to thank Dr. Matthew Diaz and all his staff about. From day one they have been extremely kind to me. I came in with great difficulty walking into their clinic. Been going here about 14 months now. Never missed an appointment. At times those appointments were daily. I drove 65 miles one way to get there. Thats how much time and dedication, and good faith I gave that that I thought they could help me. With that said, let me say this. The staff are really nice BUT, your just another cow walking in the gate. Outdated equipment, electronic massage with old ass pads they try to get to stick on you or use masking tape to hild them down. A young doc on duty (2 years in the business ) who cant remember who you are from one appointment to the other. Bottom line, if you need your neck or back cracked....go for it....if you need help....good luck. read more

Great friendly staff! Doctor Quiroz takes time to listen to where the pain is at for the day. The staff keeps the place nice and sanitized during this pandemic. They also give the patient alot of options on getting to a healthy and fast recovery! read more

These people should not be in business...oh wait they aren't in business any longer in Midland they just failed to tell anyone. Went in two months ago and was charged as new patient, chose to go at times convenient for me over the next two months and then all of a sudden I show up and the doors are closed. No sign on the door, no message on the machine, number not redirected anywhere and despite what they would argue I did not receive a phone call. If they did try they certainly did not leave a voicemail which would have been the very least they could do. I thought the only thing fair would have been a refund of new patient fee since I'll be having to turn around and spend that same fee elsewhere. read more

This place was a joke. Run down building no doors on the rooms you can hear everyone's conversation. The equipment is old and out dated, and the so called chriopractor didnt know what he was doing. Had a lab coat on like he was a doctor that didn't fit, soles of his shoes was coming off. And they wanted to charge over 200 dollars for a first time visit. Would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. read more

I was having some major pains in a couple of places and needed to find a local chiropractor. I am so glad I chose to go to this place. The people were all very friendly and after seeing my X-rays and why I was having so much pain, I got an adjustment and treatment plan. Dr. Torres really gave attention to some particular pain I was having in my arm. Although I am far from being back in alignment because of neglecting the pain for so long, I left there feeling so much better. It was an immediate relief to the pain I have been feeling. I look forward to following through with my treatment plan and feel confidant that they will have me lined back up by the time we get through it. I am so grateful to be able to have some pain relief an would recommend them to anyone having pain. read more
