There was one breaker that kept tripping and would not reset itself. I replaced that breaker, but it was still tripping, so it was a bigger issue than the breaker. It was late on Friday when I searched for electricians to do an arc fault diagnosis (the arc fault breaker is very sensitive to shorts and working as intended but can be difficult to find the issue that is causing the problem). I found Great Brother Electrical on Yelp (no reviews at that time), asked about their availability, discussed the issue with their representative, and scheduled Great Brother to come out the following day at 10 AM. Elmer the electrician gave me a call ahead of time right before he arrived. He arrived right at 10 AM as scheduled along with another person. I showed him the issue and discussed what the problem was. Elmer started to his diagnosis of the issue. At each step, he talked about what he was doing and what he was looking for to find the problem. He meticulously checked each power outlet and light switch in the room to find the issue (including going into the attic to test the cables). He found that two circuit cables kept shorting (from the bathroom lights to the toilet room lights and the toilet room lights to the bedroom lights). He ran new two-conductor cables to solve the problem. Great Brother did an amazing job! Elmer was very knowledgeable, and polite, and answered all the questions I asked. I will be using them again for any electrical issues or tasks needed in the future.

Oscar and his team were very punctual each day. He's hands on... working along side several of his team, Chris and Israel, each day. They installed recessed lights (adding dimmer switches for the lights) and ceiling fans (also adding switch wiring to one fan). A dedicated circuit for my microwave hood, & a GFCI receptacle was installed. The underground wires from the transformer to my home were replaced, as well as a new meter box, and new breaker panel, and a whole house surge protector. Overall, Oscar, Chris and Israel were incredibly professional, polite, and very considerate with our comfort and our 15 month old grand baby"s needs (naps). Oscar would end each day, asking if we were satisfied with the work, or if we had any questions or concerns. He was incredibly patient and caring. My day began (Wednesday 2/22/23) with my yard man ringing my doorbell, which was quite unusual,…read morebecause I had already unlocked my back fence gate for him to gain access into my back yard, and had left his check clipped to the inside of my mailbox as I usually do, so I was at a loss as to what he was wanting or needing. It didn't take long for him to tell me I had a major water leak at my meter. I immediately called my community's Water Dept. and was told that they were estimating a 400 gallon per hour leak and they sent a service technician to shut my water off at the meter. I promptly called Mr. Plumber (owned by Mr. Rick Strickland) and spoke with Miss Lori, whom I have had the distinct pleasure of dealing with in the past, and she informed me that she wouldn't be able to get a crew out to me until the next day. I pleaded with her to ask her boss, Rick Strickland, if there was any possible way for them to get someone out to me today, and after placing me on a brief hold, came back on the phone with the good news that they would be able to get a crew out to me today! I soon received a call back from Lori advising me that a crew was on their way and would be here in approximately 20 minutes, which they were! They began digging up around the meter and found a cracked 90° PVC fitting and soon had it repaired and while waiting for the PVC glue to dry/set up, they began to address another issue in my back yard and soon had that issue identified and repaired, as well. I couldn't have asked for a better rapid response and repair than what I received from these professional young men! Kudos to you, Mr. Rick Strickland and your crackerjack team of consummate professionals! I felt that the price for all repairs was very fair and they gave me a "Senior's Discount", as well, which I greatly appreciated! Miss Cynthia was very kind and courteous whenever I called back in to pay my bill for their services. I highly recommend this plumbing service as they put their customers "first"!!!
