OMG this business and all their staff are Amazing. I haven't written anything like what I'm about to say about a business, but these guys are Legit! They know their stuff. We had all kinds of problems and they had Sean dispatched the same day! We were grateful because he fixed the immediate issue and then explained what had to be done. I don't say this often but they did exactly as Sean said they would do! The new Panel is very nice compared to what we had which was original to our 1983 home. We have not had one issue since they left. I am very glad we found them. Everyone is great from Cindy who answered my husband's call to Sean who came out same day. All very professional but personalable. And the technician that came out the next day to do the major job was prompt, very polite and kept the job site to a minimum amount of disruption around the Panel and meter. I called in the Morning and in the Afternoon Shaun was there. I just had a few breakers replace but he was very patient in answering all my questions. I have used the Local Electrician a total of 3 times now and their customer service is always consistent. Electric work seems never to be cheap, but their prices are comparable to other electricians I have used and they are not trying to over sell me. He asked great questions and explained to me he thought I had everything I needed to install myself. I checked after we hung up and he was absolutely correct! I truly appreciate that he took the time to explain everything to me, did not push a "sale" and was supportive of me doing it myself. Called these guys based on the good reviews. The electrician came out, and I went over the history of the kitchen remodel (from the February freeze a year or so ago). He didn't look at any of the switches, or the outlets above the counters, just the box. He explained that the box was old, and he wouldn't look at anything unless the box was replaced for the tune of $5200 or $6800, depending on which option we selected. I called another electrician who asked if the lights worked before the new cabinets were hung. The repair, including swapping out a 220 circuit breaker with a 110 circuit breaker, was $240. The electrician rewired the outlet at no charge. The lesson I learned, call older people since they have the experience to troubleshoot. read more

The price quoted for a 100 amp circuit panel replacement was at least 3 1/2 times the average cost listed by numerous other sources. They pretend to be very friendly & look you in the eye & lie. I would be losing about $4,000 if I went ahead with the repair. Nothing but a mendacious bunch of thieves. Avoid like the plague! read more

They went through the inspection report with me and being our new home is 20 years old, there were a few things that needed updated. I had a very well know neighborhood electrician come out and do some major work at my home and it was so bad it almost burned my barn down and destroy a very expensive swim span because it was wired wrong! Not mention overriding all the safety featured in the gfci systems. I can't say enough good things about these guys!. I had 3 different electric companies come to my house to give me a price estimate for the light fixtures I needed to install. The first was one of the big companies and they basically told me that I had to break the bank and get new everything, that my house was on the verge of getting set on fire by Lightning and surges. I'm a new home owner and don't know much about these things so after that scare (and the super high price) I decided to do my research and look into some good family run smaller businesses that may be a little more honest with me regarding the work that needed to be done and the installation of my lights. Someone more consumer oriented. I found two really good companies, one of them was Matthew Arnold, the owner of the local electrician who personally greeted me and was really honest and friendly. He made me feel much more at ease and told me that I was not in danger but only needed a few things updated to be safe at home. He also gave me a good price for the installation of the fixtures and answered all my questions and concerns. He and his college Lee were here yesterday and they were very good! Local Electrician did an exceptional job. They fixed an indoor issue I had with a light switch. Afterwards, they gave me a quote on a new fuse box (we desperately needed one) and I accepted since they were the lowest I've gotten.
