We have lived in Hub 9 since 2016, needing a bigger place with more lighting but not wanting to leave a community we truly love unfortunately was starting to seem out of reach... Until we spoke to Karen Garcia. She was a god sent in a stressful time trying to find a new place so we could stay in an area we fell in love with. We have a 4 year old son that adores the parks in the area as well. A friend just moved into this apartment complex and invited a few folks over to hang out. The apartment is a 2 bed, 2 bath with lots of closet space and a nice view of the neighborhood. Walking through the hallway to the apartment felt like I was in a hotel, definitely not something I'd want to see daily. Once inside a unit you forget about the hallway though. The apartment has wood floors, tile and carpeting in the bedrooms only which is nice because it's easy to clean and keeps from getting the apartment tracked up. There's hang out space on the main level plus a computer room, a nonfunctional high end coffee bar, and a gym. Expensive but very modern and welcoming. read more

Luxury where? I have to travel 5floors down cross a busy street go into another apartment building climb 3 floors and then walk the length of the building to access the pool or gym. Central heating and cooling nope they give you 2 independent wall heaters that need constant regulation and a window with barely any sun. Bike was stolen from behind 2 locked doors they said "that sucks. 1000$ worth of packages stolen from my doorstep they said "that sucks". 2000$ 3d printer left out on a flatbed cart next to their secure parcel lockers also stolen apartments said "that sucks". Building a case against them because this is unacceptable. I pay for so much luxury and the security company and still they have the audacity to spit in my face and say they are not responsible for controlled deliveries on their property. Dont move here its a waste of money and the location is loud all the time with kids karate which echos up the building. read more

Let me start by saying that I love living here! It was so easy to get the paperwork done and the move settled. Special shout out to Melissa who was great to deal with through the move in process and on move I was a tenant. The other staff is also great there is multiple people working down stairs worthy of praise, they are on top of it. They have a coffee machine too for people which is cool and on pie day they gave the people who live here a literal pie, how cool is that. My apartment is bigger than I thought it would be with a great view. And every morning there is a lady down stairs cleaning, she is so sweet it brightens my morning every time I see her and get to say "hello". Would recommend highly! read more

Honestly, from leasing staff to maintenance to overall experience, Hub9 has been the best apartment building, and living situation, my wife and I have ever had. I encourage you to actually read the negative reviews here... From microwaves beeping too long, to people in the office laughing too much, to having to walk around the building in order to find the leasing office. I've found that some people just need something to complain about. Maintenance is timely, professional, and safe. The apartment is up to date and utilities are fair. And most important, the people in the office are flexible, always willing to help, extremely responsive, and many we would consider friends. Our dog gets upset if I don't let her say hi to everyone in the office whenever we pass by. Also, the area is wonderful. A perfect mix of walkable shops and restaurants, but it's still easy to get lost in parks and running trails if you need to get away a little bit. Right on the max stop and super convenient to get into the city. Easy commutes to Intel and Nike as well. read more

Love these apartments! My family of 3 lives in an open studio here at hub 9 and it's everything plus more that we could want in an apartment. Our place comes with 3 closets which is almost impossible to come across especially in apartments! We absolutely adore the office staff and have such friendly neighbors that made us feel so welcome when we moved from Seattle. People have complained of parking but honestly in the last year of living here we have ALWAYS found a spot. We would highly recommend this property, very family friendly and peaceful. read more

Lived here a long time ago when they were owned and managed by Avenue five. To make a long story short they let a person into my apartment without my consent or knowledge. I didn't feel comfortable after this happened so I told them I wanted to be released from my lease well I had to get a lawyer involved and they let me out of the lease. Well just recently my husband and I decided to apply for an apartment in another state we had no idea that Avenue five managed them ! They ran my husbands name and approved it then when they ran my name they denied me. My husband called and the girl that answered disclosed my personal info which is illegal ! Anyways I called Avenue five and asked am I on a do not rent list and of course they never returned my call or email. I wouldn't rent from any property they own unless you want random people being let into your apartment and your personal information being given out if you are ok with that then yes rent from them ! read more

I'm not a current resident. I visited this community when trying to visit the rowlock. Which was a separate disaster but I will include it here- the parking situation was awful, I tried to park in "future resident parking" but it was all full. Which I learned later was not because there were a lot of future residents. The rowlock leasing building was closed and signs said to go to the leasing center for hub9 and vector. I was walking in circles trying to find this place, in fact there was even one sign in the station that said leasing office with an arrow but each side of the sign pointed in the opposite direction. Oof. The reason I've combined the reviews was when I got to the office I was told "nothing is available in rowlock so let me just show you hub9" without any indication of when we're looking to move or what. We had found rowlock on apartment finder and there had been some apartments that seemed open in our time frame...guess not. We were shown a model and was able to see one of the amenities. No mention of the others or even the pool which was the whole appeal of rowlock. The model they showed us was not the unit we were interested in so they offered to show us photos, at first they pulled up the wrong photos and then the right ones were blurry and seemed to be taken very cheaply. Not a great selling point guys. They also forgot to give back our ID's so we had to rush back and get them. So a fairly negative experience was topped off by me specifically asking them to email me, not call. Since our visit, I have received 2-3 calls from this complex. The best part? They call me Sean on my voice mails....you'd think when keeping my ID's and entering my info...they'd at least call me the right name. Very horrible experience. If this is how they handle guests I'd hate to see how they handle residents. read more

Let me start by saying I was highly satisfied walking into this leasing office for the first time, the times I walked in after that, and the day I got my keys. All of the leasing agents at this location are GENUINELY kind, warm, and accommodating. I was pretty anxious through the entire process of signing my first apt. lease, however the office staff was incredibly sweet which made me feel a lot better about everything and more comfortable. Leslie, specially made everything a breeze for me. She also gave me a fabulous and fantastic tour of the apt. complex. if you're looking for a clean apartment in the Hillsboro area I would highly recommend Hub 9. You definitely get the "bang for your buck" which was what I was looking for. From the building itself to the leasing office agents, everything gets 5 stars in my book. read more

If you are looking for a secure studio/apartment in Hillsboro, Oregon with helpful leasing and maintenance staff, check out Hub 9 in the Orenco Station neighborhood. Our son wanted to continue living in Oregon after he graduated from college in May 2019. We hit the jackpot when we went on a tour at Hub 9 and met Cassie. She is such wonderful sales associate! Our son is now renting a studio . . . feels more like a spacious open one bedroom apartment. Hub 9 residents are allowed to use the pool and workout facilities at nearby Vector and Rowlock apartments (across the street). We completed the Hub 9 application, signed the lease, received instructions on renter's insurance, electricity, cable/internet, parking and parcel locker. The instructions from the beginning to end were crystal clear! Such a smooth transaction! The Max Light Rail Station is steps from the front door! Very convenient! As a former member of the Hub 9 family. I would like to let everyone know, how wonderful it is to live in Hub9. The leasing associates are the best. They take care of any management problem you may have. The maintenance staff is amazing. They have that building running like a well oiled machine. The building is immaculate. I walked the halls and common rooms in socks or in my bear feet. All the staff was attentive to the needs of the people that lived there. To me living in Hub9, was like living home. I am sad to say that I have been disappointed with my experience at Hub9. But first, the positives: The facilities are beautiful and kept clean. Everything is modern. The staff are very polite. Staff have parties for the guests. Leasing was smooth. The surrounding area is full of energy and growth. Now the negatives: The apartments are small and overpriced. After being told that utilities would be $29 per month, they raised them to over $100 after full occupancy, then lowered them to $75 after residents revolted. Many would eventually leave when their leases were up. Staff often don't respond to e-mails or phone calls, or requests for paperwork, even when they smile and tell you they will. They send out accusatory e-mails or phone calls when they think someone is noisy or smoking. They told us when we moved in that we would have access to the pool when Rowlock opened but they reneged. I feel like they sold me some lies to get me to lease here then went back on them once fully leased. The apartments are extremely hot in summer. You must keep your windows open but it is very noisy with the train station, buses, trucks supplying the restaurants early, noisy people, kids and dogs, and loud construction on nearby buildings. Noise echoes in apartments and between buildings. You can rent air conditioners for $75 per month but they do very little to cool the apartment down. They posted requests for Yelp reviews from residents because they have a high vacancy rate now and need some help. There is high turnover of residents. We can't wait for our lease to end, and have considered breaking it early before the summer heat arrives. read more
