Its nickname is Gravel Ridge and you'll understand by the time you hit your second shot. The course could be pretty good -- the layout isn't bad -- but other than cutting grass there's very little maintenance. Most fairways have eroded spots and most of those have gravel in them, the tees are a mix of grasses, the traps are absolutely abysmal and when it rains they become another set of water hazards for a week or longer, and if you've never had back problems you will after riding on the cart paths. The greens, however, are good. Hard and fast with lots of breaks. The pro shop is pretty well-stocked and the staff is friendly. The restaurant is very good -- worth a trip sans golf. Very nice neighborhood. I've played it three times in the past two years and have seen no signs of improvement. I'm not going back.
