We ended up deciding on my first idea because Ross cared enough about us to tell us that's what he would do if he were in our shoes, and because he shopped around and made extra calls to get the best possible deals. Everyone I talk to at his office goes out of the way to help us with any question, although, as automated as our policy is, we hardly have to ask any questions anymore. Once Jeff Seal the builder called and cussed me out on the phone I knew that this was going to be a roller coaster ride. I was told that I come and check up on our house too often and that I shouldn't be coming by to check on things. There was barely any communication during the building process and if you did send them something with any questions Jeff seemed to get very upset. Amy Rose was always very helpful with any questions we had and always tried to best to help out. We have arch ways that lead into three different hallways and two of those arch ways were framed wrong. One side of the arch way was lower than the other. I have worked in construction and have a great eye for level and being able to see when things are wrong. Before any sheet rock went up I notified Jeff about this problem and they still sheet rocked over it. When I asked them to take off the sheet rock and fix it because I had already pointed it out he said no. I asked for a water softener loop to be installed and because I stayed on top of everything I got with the plumber to ask where it was since they were about to sheetrock. The plumber had no clue about this and had to call Jeff about it. I had also asked for concrete footings around the flower beds and under the fence. I came by to check on the house and they are about to start the fencing, so I have to call Jeff and get this sorted out again. In our hallway by the girls rooms the wall is crooked because the the wood they used at the bottom of that wall was straight. Guess what........ I pointed that out also before it was framed and nothing was done. Also lets not even get started on their " one year warranty". 5 people come out and fly through your home for about 15 min. I asked for a couple things to be addressed and we were told that happened when y'all move it and it wasn't like that when you closed. I was also told that we would be getting a shower door for our walk in shower and it is on the paperwork we signed when we closed saying these are the last couple of things needed. Jessica's tub leaked because they did not install the drain correctly, my back yard holds water in one area like a pond and they were going to come back and put a french drain in, but guess what I haven't seen or heard from them. I have also spoken with multiple home owners who are having slab problems. I would just steer clear and go elsewhere if I could give any advice. Ill get off my soap box now but I needed to get this off my chest and maybe save someone some headaches if anyone is thinking about buying a house from this clown

It is a designer series house where all colors and selections have been meticulously selected. Additionally, the house includes many design features such as a few outlets that have built-in USB ports, hidden outlets in the kitchen island, a hidden pantry, large shower nooks that fit very tall shower products, and an overflow of natural light. Jeff also allowed us to add (at an additional cost) a few upgrades that we wanted in our home such as additional electrical outlets, a pot filler, an outdoor kitchen with granite countertops. The Ventura Homes team has been very cautious about exposing my family to toxic chemicals and dust as I am pregnant. All repairs have been completed outside of the house and only installed on site. That level of care for the health of my family and I do not go unnoticed. Jeff Seal and his team always wanted to make us happy. So grateful that my husband and I found this beautiful house built by Ventura Homes as it does not disappoint!

They've helped me to both buy and sell a home. I cannot think of enough good things to say about him and his company, but let me try! Firstly, I love the idea of going with a non-traditional listing service as a home seller. They saved me a small fortune by going with the flat rate fee instead of costing me an entire 3%. He didn't arm wrestle me into a lengthy contract either; he was willing to continue selling my home indefinitely without ever charging me another fee. It was unnecessary, however, as my home sold in less than a month of listing! He had phenomenal comps to compare my property to so we came up with a great starting price. He was willing and able to be reached any day of the week at any time (and trust me when I say I sent some late night texts with emergency questions!). He was extremely knowledgeable and very friendly. On the buying end, Stephen has also helped me to find the perfect home. Again, he's first rate with his comps so he knows a good deal when he sees it. He's also been in the business a very long time so he's seen a lot and knows almost everyone. He came with us to closing at our request. We were completely prepared and done in a heartbeat with no surprises.
