Worked with agent Ramesh Patel from this office. Terrible, dishonest, unprofessional and worst…read moreagent to work with. I bought a house where Ramesh Patel was the agent selling the house. He got pushy, strong-armed me into making the buy decision saying other buyers are ready with highest bids over mine. I took all that and dealt with it, given the current crazy sellers market and went forward to get the house. Right before closing I found several issues with the house and contract. Seller clearly stated HVAC not working, both A/C and Heating, roof leaking etc. in the seller's disclosure. When I pointed that out and started negotiating the price, Ramesh said he is not aware of any issues with the house and he will talk to the seller and get back. He got back to me saying those are clerical errors on the seller's paper work and provided me an updated seller's disclosure showing nothing wrong with the house and everything checked out fine. I believed that and closed the house. Later I moved into the house and found out all the same issues stated in the original seller's disclosure within the first week of moving. I still had the original copy of sellers disclosure saved in my email. I referred it back to confirm. Ramesh provided misleading information to me, misrepresented the seller, outright lied, and made seller conceal information in the contract. I called Ramesh about all this and his response was, I bought the house in as-is condition and him nor the seller is not responsible for any issues with the house. When I asked for a refund or help with fixing those issues, Ramesh was very rude, unprofessional and started cursing and yelling at me saying, there were several offers on the house and I wouldn't have gotten this house if not for his flexibility in working with me on sharing the highest bids with me. He didn't do me any favor, he was just bargaining and price gouging with my buyers side agent. He wouldn't even show us the highest submitted bid as a proof, he calls us and tells us to revise the offer or he would give the house away. Stay away from this agent. I do not recommend. He would go any far and would do anything to self benefit from the sale.

BEST Property Management Team I've Ever Worked With!…read more As a former HOA Board member and now, as just a resident for the last 2 years, I can say that the Compass Team is, BY FAR, the best management team I've ever worked with. This includes working with management teams in Texas and Michigan. I'm impressed with how they are wonderful stewards for saving costs, but not at the expense of providing less in services. Plus, their planning - both short and strategic - is exceptional. This planning and their skillful negotiations with various contractors has enabled HOA increases to be minimal. Finally, they are prompt in replying to both routine and emergent issues. They also installed a work order system that tracks work projects and costs. These figures are presented to the Board and the residents in great detail. I've worked with Management companies before and the Team at Compass has demonstrated exceptional responsiveness and genuine concern for being the best possible stewards for keeping costs reasonable while maintaining exceptional service. Bravo!

When questioned about this, Stacey's responses were unclear and lacked transparency regarding ongoing litigation and related expenses. Additionally, there has been no proper sharing of meeting minutes, and residents seeking transparency have faced dismissive and unprofessional treatment. The manner of communication and lack of openness are deeply concerning and not in keeping with the standards expected from a professional management company.

He glossed…read moreover way too many things that were a surprise to me at move-in, and they are causing me excessive time, money and anguish to get fixed. I would not recommend him nor BPG to anyone. I reported some of the problems I have found to him, but all I heard back was crickets. All doors but one in the place shut hard, and 3 will not shut at all. The bottoms of some interior doors have water damage. Some window screens were bent or missing, some blinds missing or fouled. A toilet would not stop running and it moves when one sits on it. There is a trip hazard in a shower caused by an improper drain installation, and sharp edges that can easily cut a person in the shower door. The oven door is loose. Some HVAC vents were rusted and not well-sealed around the ducts. He did not check any appliances or would have noted that the washer shakes and the dryer seems noisy too. The water heater is slow to warm, then too hot. He cut the fuse box out of the wall and damaged the paint. He inspected the exterior with a better eye than the interior, but most of the exterior issues reported are the HOA responsibility. If you want a good set of eyes on your next home purchase, chose someone else that does not spend so much time on waivers and disclaimers about what they do not inspect and what they are not responsible for. Better maybe to chose an observant agent and supplement with a handyman.

He should have noticed it from all the brown rust in all the toilets and rusted faucets around the house. Some faucets were so clogged and slow, it needed to be replaced. The dishwasher was completely caked with calcium. Those were big signs. I don't mind that he overlooked the holes punched in by several doors and not checking the roof because there's some snow. But the water system was a huge oversight. Cost us a huge chunk of money to replace the system. We wouldn't have bought the place if we had known the issues. I should have been more cautious about these issues. Instead, I trusted our realtor and the inspector.
