I've had 8 root canals, 1 retreat and 1 apicoectomy (that's the root canal surgery) all done by Dr May. I've not really had any pain during procedures. He does the anesthetic in the bone for lower teeth, really does make it painless. I typically don't have pain after the procedure either. I recommend a smooth milkshake after--no chewing. I'm an endo vet. I know what I'm talking about.

The entire staff were very friendly. We moved to Jefferson City late last year and had a really hard time finding an honest dentist who would not overcharge or offer services that we did not need. Other dentists I called wanted to talk about treatment plans before they even met my kids who have never had a cavity. Stadium Dental did x-rays and a cleaning without pushing anything on us. The Stadium Dental team took great care of my family. I can see why their reputation is so good. The pricing and location are great as well.

I spent a few minutes looking over the cost of the procedure before agreeing to it, and I didn't know until I turned around that I had a whole huddle of techs staring at me waiting. This wouldn't have been an issue if they would've been friendly about it and gave me reassurance. It seemed like they wanted me to just sign the papers and get it over with. People need to understand root canals are expensive procedures and not everyone has the funds to dish out. Looking at your paperwork and going over the costs is okay and completely reasonable. It shouldn't be treated as a waste of time or an inconvenience.

The dr. Treated it as incorrect assumptions of someone who was ignorant in simple teeth hygiene. Later assuming I wouldn't be able to afford treatment decided to refer me to a more affordable office. Meanwhile I was lucky because he was going to teach me how to properly care for my teeth. While poking around my abscessed teeth, trying to get my gums to bleed. Because that's what happens when you don't brush your gums will bleed. It's common knowledge, yet he was shocked mine didnt. I have abscessed teeth you should t even be poking at it. He treated me like a fool and didnt even want to subscribe antibiotics which I will need to being down the infection before getting anything worked on.
