I've been to a lot of threading places and this was a totally different experience. The tools and thread she uses feel unique, and there was basically no pain. I'm typically very cautious to try new places because of previous bad experiences, and this is just an addition to my apprehension. First Huda works from home which is fine, if you're at least adhering to cleanliness measures. I walked in after another client, and the share I sat on was not wiped or sprayed down, the prior thread used on the other clients brows was still on the table along with the other tools used, which were not cleaned prior to starting on me. This is not just relevant to Covid but basic safety measures- requiring you to clean tools prior to each customer. Additionally, I have never had any issues with my eyelashes being pulled out during threading yet I had this with Huda.. and her response was "oh your lashes are long". When I told her she had altered my shape and they were uneven she said that they were uneven to begin with. Well, If you have expertise in shaping eyebrows, you don't blame your clients current shape on your inability to properly shape them. I was very disappointed in her service and recommend that you choose wisely whom you go to. And i understand some people will think that if it's such a big issue, I should stick to my usual place- but unfortunately sometimes time constraints only give you limited options and you want to feel that even in those limited options you aren't left with regret. read more

I'm updating my review because I've moved and my old review is a few years old. I STILL LOVE HER! I moved down to OC and tried to find someone who was at least slightly comparable to Huda. No luck. Then, I moved to Simi Valley, and went to Layla Threading. I have had good experiences and bad experiences there. I finally decided to make the drive to Santa Clarita to get them done by Huda on a Saturday. I'm so glad I did. She was able to reshape my eyebrows after 2 years of going to others because they were close to where I lived! They messed up the angles and my tails were all messed up. She just does a 100% better job than anyone I've ever been to. She's a perfectionist and I will keep coming back. I learned that my aunt and cousin still come to see her on the regular, so you should take my advice and call her/text her. She is a life changer. Huda took me in today in her day off, which I didn't realize she was closed on a Sunday and it was SO sweet of her. I went to her today for the first time after seeing all these amazing reviews and before & after pictures, and WOW she is a KILLER at doing eyebrows!! I've only known of one other person that does an amazing job at eyebrows the way Huda does, otherwise most eyebrow salons do a mediocre job, they get the job done, and I just kinda accept it. Today, I went in with eyebrows that just looked so janky, had missing hair, and honestly my eyebrows are really hard to deal with because they grow outwards.
