At first my review was a 5 star, but now after my last experience at this place I decided to change it to a 1 star, if I could a 0 star.... Upon arriving at Sutra, my husband and I checked in and sat down waiting for our turn. Chetna, is the lady who usually does my eyebrows. Next, this gentleman walks in who i'm assuming is her regular customer, signs in and proceeds to ask how long it's going to be. Chetna then finishes with the guy she already had in her chair and calls over the gentleman who walked in after I did. My face said it all so she told him to wait and that she would do my eyebrows first, as she should've from the beginning because I was next on the list. I proceeded to tell her that she could go on with his eyebrows and that I would wait but she insisted on me being first. I sat in her chair and she walked away outside for about 5 mins before coming back. She did my eyebrows in a hurry and to me felt like she had no care in the world. I wasn't even in her chair for 5 mins before she was done. She barely trimmed them and didn't even thread all the hair off and left patches. I will NEVER return to this establishment. I will go back to Brow Arc at the mall where they take their time and care about their customers. To think I wanted to try somewhere new and help out a business but I was wrong. read more

Very bad service, my mom went for threading didn't even clear her threading. Charges them tip without even asking. When asked why she was charged for tip employee answer just bring cash next time don't bring the card if you don't know how to charge it. When we went back look three times just to explain how we needed the threading. This was our second time here will never come back. Horrible service. Don't recommend to anytime !!! I've been a customer for 5 years, and I went in today to get my usual services. I tipped the lady $3 (15% tip) and my card had an error. She took the card machine and redid the transaction, but tipped herself $9. Will no longer be coming back. Cheap and no morals. read more

I don't know if they have new ownership, but there are 2 ladies running it and they are very sweet! You can tell that they care about their customers happiness with their work. They will check once they're done to make sure you're pleased. If not they will make adjustments. They are also quick without rushing. I definitely recommend this place! read more

Been coming here for on and off for almost 8 years now. I can only get my brows threaded because my skin doesn't respond well to wax. I've tried other salons but I always seem to come back here, the ladies here are just so nice and it is so well-priced. Rima is my go to - Id recommend if you want threading to request only her. She does exactly what I ask and better than anyone I've ever been to at that! The other reviews about cuts etc. are true, the woman with the glasses (unsure of name) cut my eyebrows multiple times and was just very aggressive. The shape was all wrong - I asked for a clean up and she took off most of my eyebrow. However - Rima is my girl and she's amazing! Highly recommend her. read more

Noticed a ton of bad reviews and feel the need to give my two cents. I've been coming here on and off for 4-5 years. I come back because they do what I need - groom my eyebrows. I pay $10 plus tip. If you're looking for someone to know your eyebrows as well as you do, then this isn't the place for you. If you're looking for someone to shape your eyebrows perfectly, this isn't for you. Try one of these " brow bars" or generally something in a higher price range. I'm a very chill gal and I love this place so if you're not a chill gal then you'll probably need to move right along. My first time there I wasn't sure of the prices and I relied on the yelp ratings and reviews for guidance. When I got there I signed in, and sat down. She was finishing up withe someone else, and shortly called me up. Pretty standard procedures while getting my eyebrows threaded but when she was done they looked great. No modifications needed. I was happy, she then proceeded to put some lotion on my eyebrows and massage a little. Felt great. I took another look at my brows and still happy. I was in and out quickly. I had an eyebrow girl of over 10 years but with COVID she lost her shop. I was left with no one to do my eyebrows and I was so scared but I trusted these ladies Niru which I believe is the owner is a perfectionist and she doesn't disappoint! I came in on a weekday morning. I was the only customer so Savi sat me right down and got to work. It's my first time at this threading salon but I like it a lot. Great prices. They have a special holiday deal for eyebrows, $8.00, until the end of December. A lot of threading places overdo my eyebrows and thread more off because my eyebrows grow a little funny. But I like my eyebrows a little thicker, just tamed. Savi takes a lot of pride in her work. It shows. She was snipping tiny millimeters off each eyebrow hair and made sure I was comfortable the whole way. Plus they massage your brows afterwards. Let me start by saying that I think they switched owners because the women that I always see in there are no longer there, which is very disappointing because they were all great at doing eyebrows. I went in today to get my eyebrows done & decided to go with the lady that was free, because usually everyone that works here does a great job. Big mistake! I've been growing out my brows for about a month, so it was pretty important to me that my brows come out right today. Well, they didn't at all. The shape is terrible & she took off way too much in certain parts. I came here and specifically told the woman that I am trying to grow my eyebrows out. I asked her to just clean the stray hairs. She completely reshaped my eyebrows and the left brow is noticeably thinner than the right one. I am so upset because I was trying for so long to grow them out and she removed so many hairs close to the arch after I told her to remove the stray hairs only. What is so hard to understand about that??? I am never coming back here again. I am literally so upset I don't know what on earth that woman was thinking, 3 days have past and it seems like my left brow got even thinner compared to the right one. She must have been blind to not notice the difference. It is literally night and day.
