So we didn't want to wait longer for the carhop there to bring some out for us. Sonic sounded good with their variety of offerings. It wasn't but 30 seconds after I submitted "checkin" that our 3 drinks came out. My daughter in the passenger seat had just barely pushed the order through. A nice young man greeted us and replied "Have a blessed day" before he walked away (1/9/2024). That's Andrews, Texas for you! TIP The app will save you some dough - half off ("Happy Hour Any Time") on many - not all, but many - drinks including limeades & Powerade concoctions.

The food was fresh as usual with the exception of the onions on the salsa bar. I'm sure they were recycled from yesterday as they are translucent. I'm not against onions chopped yesterday but I would cook them or use in salsa rather than presenting as fresh topping for the salsa bar. I did get my food quite quickly. Which is typical at this location. I stop here more often than in Midland or Hobbs for that reason. Also, if you grew up in the Permian Basin, this is something you crave :) I'm glad the food has not changed much.
