I hate to say it but I am devastated to discover that the food is so good here! We have been staying with my in-laws for a bit now (in the process of preparing our house to sell and buy a new one) and so we have been exploring restaurants in the area for once, which I'm sure we will be continuing to do when we come back in the future too. And frankly this is the best steak kabob, rice pilaf, and fries that I've had in a long time. It beyond hits the spot! Where we went wrong, however, is by ordering it for pickup via DoorDash, as that is what comes up as an option via Google. I am disabled and currently very sick so I sent my husband to pick it up for me and when he got there, they said they had the order and that it would be right out. The manager brought the food out and asked him if he would be paying with cash or card. When my husband explained it was prepaid via DoorDash, her friendly demeanor changed and she LAID INTO HIM about how "you DoorDash drivers know better than to come in here like customers! You are supposed to go in the other entrance and pick up your orders there!" He explained he wasn't a driver for DoorDash and didn't know anything about that because it was a pickup order for his wife but she couldn't care less. It's too bad the food is so good because if you treat my husband poorly, we aren't coming back to keep giving you our money in the future. Please fix how you treat people! I came here with my band and the service was alright, but the food was not great. I got served canned veggies with burnt catfish and so much black pepper, made the food hard to eat. The shrimp was pretty good though. The ambience is not the best, cheap chairs and out dated wallpaper. Definitely need renovations. A lot of the band got food poisoning after eating here, would not recommend. read more

Very good food and excellent salad bar with so many varieties of food. Our waitress was very sweet.

The restaurant may be overpriced, but it still needs some improvements as it feels it could have done more after renovating following damages done because ice storms hit the area the week of Valentine's Day in 2021 and from what I have been told by other residents damaged it to being closed throughout that year. It would be a hit if they continued to update the interior, their menu, and public WiFi for those doing business while waiting for their food. When I visited in July, it felt like it was from another era that is just a memory to older residents. read more

Husband order a ribeye. There was so much fat on the steak that they brought 2 steaks to try to make up for the amount of fat. My husband took one bite out of the only piece of actual meat available and spit it out. He said it was the worst thing he ever tasted. His baked potato was also inedible. Cold and hard. I got catfish which was ok. Definitely not worth the $60 bill. Will never go back. Server was nice. read more

Salad bar is good. Service was fine. BUT the thing that aggravated me was that they charged me a fee to use my Credit card. I spent over $100 and had to pay to use a card! And the gratuity was automatically added. I usually tip over 20%. You lost out on that one. read more

We have come to love this restaurant. They have a full menu with lots of options, of which we have tried many and all of them have been very good. The steak fingers are consistently amazing. Came her to have a nice steak with my husband To start with the sweet tea was old and tasted bitter. Ordered an $18 8 ounce steak with baked potato. I requested no chives server said okay When she finally brought our salad bar plates by the time we got back to the table our steaks were there. Husband got a sirloin and I ordered the ribeye. The sirloin was a much better steak my ribeye was super thin and over cooked. My baked potato was plain because according to the waitress to get anything on it I had to pay an extra $4 for a loaded potato which only had butter, grated cheese and a couple of fake bacon sprinkles. The salad bar was nice and well stocked Didn't get our non homemade rolls til we were done. Now in the servers defense she was the only person taking care of approx 8 tables Needless to say I could have overlooked a lot of this if the server had some communication skills and tried to be helpful also I would have spent the extra money to get what I wanted and not been irritated read more

Wife and I stopped here 12-9-2022 about 2:20 as we wanted to order off the buffet but was told by the waitress it's past 2 pm the Buffett was closed - I got up and walked over to the buffet and saw plenty of food still available but was told We have to order off the menu instead we ate a salad and LEFT BUT NOTICED other workers in uniform in the restaurant loading up food off the buffet and going home with it when they could if made 2 sales - wife and I was so angered as we said NEVER again will we stop in this restaurant again HOW DAMN RUDE ! Not to mention LOUSY SERVICE as we waited and waited I got up and found 2 waitresses counting their tip money instead of waiting on us ! read more

This is our first visit ever coming here. Once we walk in the workers were eating at the table next to the door, and told us to sit where ever we wanted. With her mouth full of food. Once we got sat and the waitress came for our order I told her I was new here. What's good on the menu. And she said, "I don't know but I'll be over here if when you're ready." So we try to give it the chance and stay since the reviews were good, and then since it's close to closing time EVERYONE is doing closing duties in front of us. Vacuuming, filling salt and pepper shakers, and restocking for tomorrow. I worked as a waitress before and they always told us to never do that in front of the customers. Wait till they leave. I only gave this place two stars because the food was decent. We will never come back and make sure we tell family and friends to never come here. read more

I honestly don't know why I keep giving this place just one more chance. Food is mediocre at best and takes ENTIRELY to long to be delivered, lukewarm, to the table. Service is spotty and entirely overstretched. If you're passing through, keep passing. Seminole is a half hour north and Odessa is a half hour south. Both have excellent dining choices. read more

Horrible service when we walked in we were told to seat are selves when ready to order we had to call are waitress because she took more than 5 mins mind you they were not busy when ordering my husband asked for the 12 oz steak and was told he Could not give me his trip to the salad bar because he didn't want to eat it that it was against policy we felt it wasn't right if you order your food you should do what ever you want with it your the one paying for it!! This is a complete rip off. Food was cold. Service was poor. They definitely overcharged for food and do not furnish an itemized ticket. If you ask for one, they act like you are asking for the cash register. Charge 18% gratuity for parties over 6. And then no service.
