We stop by 8am today Sunday. First time here. Had a great experience. No wait. Waitresses was attentive. Brought out beverages and food in timely manner. Very polite. Place was clean. If you plan on eating at this establishment, be prepared to wait forever for your food unless you are a regular that the staff knows. I understand it's hard to find help and being a little slow, but when people order and get their food after you have been sitting for over an hr to get your own order, that is where I draw a line. Ended up leaving before we got our food. Staff should fill orders as they come in. Not sure how this place could stay open. read more

I placed an online order and it took over an hour to get it! I've had issues in the past with placing an order here and the restaurant was closed and they took my money. No one ever answers the phone when I try and call to notify them of their customer service the phone just rings instead. This will be my last time ordering from this place!! read more

If I could give zero stars I would. We are frequent Huddle House customers. We recently moved to Lancaster. We have yet to try to go to this location when the door wasn't locked. I called once and was told they were cleaning the grill. At 1:00 on a Sunday. She said 20 min. We returned in 20 min. Well the only reason this is getting a 1 star is because there is no lower score, Drove in to parking lot half full at 10 am on a Sunday, no to busy, same inside half full restaurant. So I figure not a long wait in store for us, WAS I WRONG. 2 person ticket took 15 minutes to get our order from the manager, then over 45 minutes to get our our, They did oppligize that they had a lot off to go orders to take care of first, what kind of restaurant doesnt take care or sitting guests first or a priority? Food quality, score 0 I had two eggs OM suppose to be grilled biscuit and gravy and 2 patty sausages, Came out ice cold, biscuit not grilled sausage over cooked and one egg OE and one egg broke OW. Then my wife just had an omelet no sides, eggs raw in the middle and bathing in a plate of oil, Never Again, needs new management that can hire a real cook and streamline orders. read more

Don't think I've ever written a review quite like this one. Note that the food itself was actually decent. The problem was that the restaurant was severely understaffed to the point of being ridiculous. I don't know how any business owner or manager wouldn't be in the place during a crisis like this, rather than letting their employees flounder around with no hope of keeping up. Very sad. read more

Great food, all the time! The reason I gave it a 4 stars is because it is always SO COLD!! BRRRR!

I've been here loads of times and had the same experience, so I've finally given up on this place. We always wait at least 25 minutes for our food, even with just two of us, but yesterday we waited that long AND when our food arrived, our eggs and sausage were cold. Not room temp, like they had been in the refrigerator. My pancakes were hot but that's all. At least if you wait that long for food you expect it to be worth the wait. Our server was really sweet and said it was her first day and she apologized over and over for the wait even though it was in no way her fault. There was a group of three people next to us who waited even longer than we did and I could hear them starting to get upset with the place. But there weren't that many customers in there so none of us could figure out what was taking so long. Then when we got the bill it was really expensive for the food we received. Also the whole place was really cold and I'm not the only person who noticed that either. I usually prefer the food at this place so much to the food at the Waffle House nearby but unfortunately they've lost my business until they can address the long wait time. read more

Stopped with a friend for a quick lunch around 12:45 pm today. We had been seated for a few minuted when a waitress came over and informed us the grill was closing down in a few minutes. We ask if we could get a couple omelets and she stated no. To shut the grill down at 12:45 on a busy Sunday makes no sense whatsoever. I honestly felt like we were just told that because we had registered a complaint against them a month or two ago for extremely slow servce when the place was almost empty. read more

I only gave it a star because I had to to be able to post review. This place is horrible. I just literally set with my husband 15 mins waiting on service and for someone to even acknowledge we were there. No one looked up or batted an eye. So we walked out. A nice young man inquired if we were leaving. I told him yes he asked no one waited on you? I said yes we were not even spoken to much less helped. He said that's why he's leaving in 2 weeks. He said he has been there for 2 yrs and has seen many customers leave because they cannot provide service or even bother to speak to customers. He was heading out on break. He also pointed out a trashy (as nice as I can put it) dingy blond lady who's section we were sitting at and said by the way that was your waitress. She couldn't be bothered though as she was flirting at the counter with some guy who likes to dip. He encouraged me to write a review so I am. I am also saddened that this is the 3rd time I have had issues with this place. The first was when our waitress decided she didn't want to wait on us. The 2nd was when they said their grill was broken down for a bit, as were leaving I heard the cook say it's really not I just didn't feel like cooking. Not so smooth cook! Wait till someone is all the way out the door next time you say that. If this wasn't such a small town they would have had to shut their doors by now.
