We transferred our family to Hudec in North Canton, the wife and I thought that our evaluation seemed off and consider a second opinion but decided to move forward . One of boys did have some cavities that need taken care of so we did start his work being done. On the second appointment I had switched jobs and insurance changed I had recieved a text and called multiple times to provide the information after receiving a text and no one answered. On the day of the appointment my wife took our boy in and instantly the receptionist had an attitude and was very rude and unprofessional to my wife when she tried to provided the new insurance. Keep in mind we have two insurance providers so the bill could have been billed to the second provider with no issues. The receptionist was so rude that my son went to the car and w have decided we will not return. Sad that one employee can ruin a relationship. We like the rest of the staff however the receptionist is very unprofessional and rude. read more

FACT: Their dentist (Dr. Vic) told me I needed 4 crowns. FACT: My insurance agreed, and I received a pre-authorization letter from my insurance. FACT: I was told the procedure would take several hours. FACT: I took a partial sick day from work so that the procedure could be performed. FACT: When I arrived, there was a 'new' dentist (Dr. Baik). FACT: This new dentist told me that I needed a crown on every upper tooth (approximately 14 in total) or to have them all replaced with veneers (at least $20,000 cash) not covered by insurance. FACT: This is not what the previous dentist from that office told me. FACT: This is extra dental work was NOT what the appointment was for. FACT: This is NOT what the insurance company approved. FACT: The dentist Dr Baik told me that she disagreed with Dr. Vics and the insurance company's ECONOMICALLY CONSERVATIVE treatment and told me that she would not proceed unless I agreed to one of the much more expensive procedures. FACT: This office caused me to take a partial sick day and I ended up only being in the office for a half hour since she refused to perform what the insurance approved, and I was not going to go forth with the extra crown work that had not been approved by my insurance company. scheduled appointments for my 2 kids age 14 and 17 as new patients and the day of the appointments they called and canceled my appointment. I have left several messages for them to return my calls to reschedule but they have failed to call me back. I ended up calling the 216 numbe on their website and was told that they are full and can't reschedule or schedule me at this time. so now I have to find another dentist that will except my kid's insurance. very disappointed! read more

I am 69 years old and needed braces to help correct some damage done due to a fall and broken tooth. I was quite nervous but the office staff and Dr Bous have been very friendly and kind to answer all questions and follow up with me. The procedure was not as difficult as I anticipated, the technician was professional and everything was done efficiently and professionally. HUDEC DENTAL IN CANTON IS THE WORST! I can't imagine a worse dentist. These people have REGULARLY canceled appointments on the day we were scheduled. My son had three appointments for a root canal and all three times all he got was an x-ray. That's an entire of year of cancelled appointments, x-ray-only appointments, and no proper dental care for a type one diabetic patient. His insurance is limited, otherwise we would have found a new dentist a long time ago. I am considering legal action because *again today* they canceled his appointment on a day for which he was scheduled and he is in a lot of pain. So angry and disappointed. Please don't put your family through dealing with them. read more

The hygienist is so incredibly nice. For that, I am crediting this dental office two stars. Their billing is a mess. The office staff is nice, but I blame this billing mess on their "corporate" culture. I am not even sure I needed the procedure that I had done, but every time I paid a bill, they would tack on something else and send another bill. And every time I called, they told me they had a problem with their system. I paid a LOT of money. I also think they are somewhat short-staffed. There is only one dentist and one hygienist and it seemed fairly busy. The x-ray girl was new and didn't know how to do some of the x-rays, so while I don't fault her for being new, it seems like it really slowed things down. They could have used an extra person. I also think it's a scam that they don't do a cleaning the day that you come in for your x-rays and check up. I've moved around a lot and have had several dentists over the years, and I've always had the cleaning done at the same time. Just a way for them to tack on extra charges and services. I changed providers. I am not sure that the new one is much better, but I was not about to spend any more money here. read more

I went to hudec a few years ago regularly and they were ok but my crown never stayed on. I had different insurance and paid out of pocket about half of the cost of care. They were so nice.. Now I have medicaid and even though they accept it - they are rude when you call. I've called twice in the last year to see if they were accepting new patients. Both times.. they are short with you and talk to you like scum. I have resorted to having to pay 100% at another provider using care credit. Just felt it was important to say how you are treated if they think you are poor. read more

I am a 46 year old former Marine from the south. I will start by saying I had 3 visits in my treatment plan. Rootcanal, crown, and filling. I arived with a chipped tooth and a missing filling.. I was in horrible pain.. Doctor Jain took me on short notice and worked thru his lunch to relieve my pain,,, this is something I really apreciated ...considering the pain I was in. The first visit was a good visit. All the assistants..Ms. Nicole and Heather were professional and helpful. They treated me like a 8 year old school girl and babied me. (Believe me I sure eat it up..Because I am a coward in the dentist chair!!) They all helped get me out of pain quickly ... and calmed my nerves. The second visit was a good visit with one exception. Again the pain was minimal... and they always asked "how I was doing..? Was I in pain.. " I was happy with the process. (Remember No one likes going to the Dentist) I am a big baby.. but they did the root canal and I did not feel any pain!!!! I was suprised. I was so impressed with the Doctor. . He was thorough and gentle. . And always concerned about my well being... The one exception was with a female who wanted me to pay before the proceedure was done..and then laughed when my wife got upset.. I asked the Doctor if this is his policy. . He assured me it wasn't and he would speak with the female in question. It turned out to be a misunderstanding and we worked it out. The third visit was great. Again NO PAIN and wonderful staff. I paid my bill in full.. around 650 dollars or so after my insurance. . I just want to say there is no bigger baby then me.. I waited in pain at my house for 2 weeks.. using tooth gel and motrin, before i finally went to Doctor Jain. I hate the idea of going to a dentest. But I was so glad I did. I learned upon my 3rd visit that the Female in question is no longer there. We are all entitled to a bad days so maybe that's what she had with me.. however I was dreading coming back to my 3rd visit because of my interaction with her.. I was happy to realize that Dr. Jain is istablishing a culture were patients come first. And anyone who does not agree with that can work somewhere else.. What more do you want? A Doctor, who listens, who cares, who does good work and wants to establish a patient/customer first mentality... I am sold. My children, wife, family and friends will all hear about my positive visits I had at Hudec in Belden. I recently visited Hudec Dental to fix a chipped tooth. As I had no dental insurance, they explained the dental programs they offered. They were very informative and friendly. After I chose one, I was examined and X-rays taken. I had two choices and was surprised they didn't push for the expensive choice. They fixed my two teeth in a very professional manner. I left the office feeling so happy, my teeth looked better than before they were fixed!. Cant say enough for the friendliness of the staff! eg read more

I've always struggled with my teeth, they're crowded and messed up but anytime I go into Hudec the staff is so kind and they get the job done. They go above and beyond to make sure I'm satisfied with my care and my smile every time I go in there and if there's ever a problem they fix it right away. Maria the E.F.D.A went above and beyond for me today, I had a chip in my front tooth and I was only there to get a couple fillings but she took the time to even my teeth out so the chip isn't even noticeable anymore! I'm so happy I can smile a little more comfortably now. The staff here are amazing and they'll explain everything that's going on so you know and understand what's going on. They're truly remarkable and I wouldn't want to go anywhere else! read more

Worse service ever got my wisdom teeth removed 3 of them But Dentist came in didn't really say much he numbed me up and then went on to his next 2 other patients He came back probably half an hour later to remove my teeth when he started to drill I could still fill the drill so I told him it hurts he numbed me up more but I can still feel the pain so after I get home leave me a prescription of ibuprofen and five stronger pain Pills that didn't last long my face is so swollen I could barely sleep looks like I got beat up by the dentist and I'm in so much pain there's nothing they can do to help me I would not recommend going here they don't care about your comfort . if you getting your wisdom teeth polled do not go here!! read more

A couple weeks back I went looking for a dental practice. I truelly hit the jackpot. I found Hudec dental. Not only is the dentist Dr. Vic one of the best dentists Ive ever been to. This man really cares about his patients describing in detail what's to be done,and really caring about making his patients look 100s of times better than when they came in.Hes friendly and kind, what more can anyone ask for in a dentist. Teesha his dental assistance knows her stuff and is hands on right with Dr. Vic, she's beautiful, happy and makes u laugh so u forget your in a dental place. Marie is also the best at what she does she runs interference between Dr. Vic and Teesha helping with everything. They also have a great staff in front when u come in these girls are efficient, get you in fast go thru your insurance so u know where u stand financially.And the best part they are so friendly so kind. They also care that u have the best care possible.Im glad that I picked Hudec. kudos to u all, for u are the best. read more

I would never recommend this place to anyone! EVER!!!! This was a place that my insurance covered so I has to use it. I went in they never generally checked my teeth like a normal dentist and this was my first time here. Now don't you think they would do a general check to get to know your mouth. I had a broken molar and it was broken to the nerve so they insisted they do a root canal right then. A root canal? For what? So they do this root canal, by later that night I was in severe pain I mean bad! So I try calling them the next morning at 8:30 when they open had to leave a message which ok they'll call back, nope no response. I then call back at like 3:30 still not one person picks up or calls me back. By then the phones are off so I call the answering service, they forward me to the doc himself. He writes me a script the next day and then I'm still in pain. I go back on that next Tuesday and they opened it back up..... So needless to say a second root canal. It's still excruciating and I refuse to go let them "fix it" again. I give this place zero stars! If I could give them negative stars I would! This place is s joke read more

It was a few years ago, but I still remember well the bad experience I had at Hudec. I endured four uncomfortable hours in the chair for exam, cleaning, xrays, and ultimately a root canal and less-than-perfect crown. I have since moved out of state, and today, I found out from my new dentist that there is a cavity under that hokey crown, which will have to be re-done. Also, the office was not extremely professional or efficient. When I stopped by a second time to have a sharp edge taken care of, the office was unlocked, with no staff inside. That is NOT how I would want my files and records exposed and unprotected. When I called from inside the office, the receptionist was next door having lunch and said they leave the doors unlocked so the bus passengers can enter when they arrive. And, she told me I would have to make an appointment to get the sharp edge (on the new crown) smoothed out. I did not bother making an appointment and never returned again. read more
