The girls were there to have one tooth removed on the bottom that, when the hole was closed by braces, would help them have straighter teeth. The girls are 16 and have never been numbed by a needle at the dentist before. Dr. Thiel didn't even try to hide the needle from my daughter when going to numb her, instead bringing the needle right through her line of vision. This made my daughter nervous, hesitant to allow him to numb her. Now when I say hesitant, I mean like a 4 on the scale of 1-10. She wasn't freaking out, she just became hesitant. Instead of being patient with her, Dr. Thiel ripped both gloves off his hands, threw them to the floor, then looked at me and said "I can't do this. You will need to take her to an oral surgeon." I looked at him dumbfounded. The girls did end up having their teeth removed but I will never again visit this office. Dr. Thiel is very immature and should be ashamed of himself.

They were offered, I declined, end of story. I return today to start treatment for periodontal disease and bone loss. Less than 24 hours after my initial exam. Yes...treatment is expensive but that's life these days. Medical care is expensive....it's not the staff's fault people have bad or no dental insurance. People really need to stop taking it out on staff. At the end of the day....they are a business, not a charity. I cannot say I am looking forward to today....I'm very squeamish about dental procedures but I do feel mentally prepared for what lay ahead due to the extensive explanation of care I was given.

I feel that this is solely a money-making operation. Although the cosmetic dentistry is excellent, it is not enough to compensate for the financially devastating annual visits (not to mention the damage done by unnecessary fillings). I've taken my children here for over 16 years…read more I started going there because at the time my son needed dental work at a young age and no other dentist would take him due to his age. And this happened to be the only pediatric dentist at the time. I wasn't exactly pleased with his services over the years but I felt stuck at the time because my son needed dental care. Over the years his prices keep increasing and his practice grew and he became less friendly and less patient focused. He seems to like the latest gadgets and your bill will reflect that. There was an issue as my oldest was seeing a orthodontist and because I had an argument with the orthodontist office the contacted this dentist and the tried to get me to remove my sons braces saying he would have cavities under them. I refused and told them I'd deal with the issue but my sons teeth are going to be straight first. They both were upset with me and so my second sons care was pushed to the side as the provider was upset with me and didn't want to address his need for braces. They basically black balled me and my son and I couldn't get anyone to put his braces on. I had to find another dentist that didn't know about the argument to get care for my second son. I told Dr Su office I was leaving his practice and to sent records to our new dentist but they never did. Then they would say I missed visits even after I already called them saying we were not coming back. They sent letters to me many times saying they won't provide service since we no showed but I already called them and spoke with them. Don't let the fancy little gaming system kid you. This office is just money driven not that most offices aren't but there are way better options since I stated taking my kids here. You can find a pediatric dentist anywhere now. Ps they do not take Medicaid cash only place
