In town staying with family and they sent my husband and I off for a rare date night. We had been itching to see the new Thor movie and were excited to see that it was playing here. If you are from elsewhere, note that the showings here (at least on Sundays) are pretty early. The latest showing was at 7:45 pm. Online ordering was easy and we liked that you can scan your CC for quick payment. Just know that you must provide them with your email address in order to view open seats and that there is a (typical)convenience fee for online ticket purchases. However, we found that for an evening weekend movie, the tickets were VERY cheap (in comparison to where we've lived in OH, AZ, FL, and TN). When we arrived, the kiosks allowed us to access our ticket purchase quickly and print them out. Too bad they don't yet have the ability to simply scan tickets from your phone. The staff was very friendly and the interior of the lobby had some couches to lounge on and several lines to purchase concessions. We didn't get food here since we had just gone out to eat but the popcorn smelled great! The theater itself....LOVE the spacious leather recliners. You're not right on top of each other, which is nice as we all navigate this post-COVID world. If you want to get cozy with your neighbor, you can lift up the armrest and get your snuggle on. There is even another cup holder waiting underneath! What we didn't love? The safety railings in front of each row of seats is too high. No matter how we adjusted our seats, there was always railing blocking the bottom portion of the screen for us. Speaking of the screen, it was not a clear picture, which was disappointing. Hubby thought it was his glasses and started to clean them, but I felt the same...as though the screen (Theater 8) was perhaps burning out in some areas making it a bit fuzzy. read more

Other than the Theatre at West End in SLP, I can't think of a place anywhere near the TC metro I would rather go watch a movie than here. Yes, the Theatre of River Falls is about half the price of Hudson 12. But River Falls does not have stadium seating, it is always jam packed, it is old as dirt and they only have one screen. At $8.50 for a weeknight screening, I did not feel like I was the victim of highway robbery by any means at the Theatre in Hudson. read more

We went here today to hit up a fee $5 movies. The self checkout kiosk is a HUGE time saver and allowed a prompt way to bypass the folks in line. Seats are comfortable and place is clean. I love the new recliner setup at this theater. If anyone has been to the Marcus Oakdale theater would know it's always too packed and I'm sure it's because they have a restaurant and bar. Hudson doesn't but they also have 5$ Tuesday's and free popcorn with a drink purchase. So if you just want to relax and watch a movie with the traditional snacks and not be overloaded with crowds, head here. They have kiosks to bypass the lines if you purchase and reserve your seats together online, which I highly recommend doing to ensure you have seats where you'd like and in a group if you go with family, friends or a date. It's quite easy to choose where you sit and bypass the main ticket line. Good sound and picture and there are recliners and games in the lobby if you arrive a little too early. Hit it! read more

When I discovered the marcus theater dream loungers, I vowed I would never go to another theater again. Nothing beats a power leather recliner in the theater. I was pleasantly surprised when they changed all the seating out in this theater to the dream loungers. The only difference from marcus is that you don't have the love seat option which is nice when you go with a date. They beat marcus on availability if seating. You usually can show up 30 mins before a show and get great seats. At marcus you have to reserve seats ahead several hours or even days in advance for certain days and times. The concessions are ok priced too. Standard fare but the popcorn is good. And they have a Butter station by the soda machines that allow you to add more butter goodness. I like that they let you fill your own sodas. Free refills on a large. This theater is my new go to because it's closer to home. Now if they would offer the dinner and a show option like marcus, then it would be tops. read more

Nice theater but you need to purchase tickets online ahead of time to get a seat. Thats just fine but you charge me a $5.00 service to buy 4 tickets online! Really... Shouldn't you discount the over priced movie tickets because you no longer need to pay the customer service rep at the door to smile and sell me a ticket. It's one thing to pay for the ticket and popcorn that is expensive enough now a service charge that pays you even more money. There are plenty of other choices that don't charge that fee. read more

I really want to give this five stars but if falls short in a few categories. The new seating is fantastic, however, the placement of the rail in most of the theaters was not thought out properly. If you recline back the railing is in your way. The soda machine, wile I'm positive is excessively loud so the employees can keep an eye out for stolen beverage, it would be nice to maybe turn down the excessively loud buzz noise. Regular high prices like most theaters but also very comfortable and for the most part always clean. read more

Customer service is not good. Went up to counter to order pop corn, the girl never said a word to us, it was actually awkward ordering. She got the popcorn, didn't even say the total cause that's too much work for a teenager to do apparently. Gave her money, got change, no thank you walked away. read more

This theatre is the best one I have ever been to! It is always very clean and nice looking. The seats are very comfortable and the concessions are reasonably priced. The men's bathrooms are nice sized and always clean. Over all all of my experiences at this theater have been very good. read more

Was so surprised to go up to buy tickets and they said I had to chooses seats?? being confused as to what to pick so the cashier picked them and they were in the middle of a row. We thought about it afterwards and wished we have chosen end seats so we didn't have to deal with getting in and out. But to our surprise when we got into our movie, they had remodeled and look to have taken every other row of seats out and installed electric operated recliners in the rows left. There was so much room and seats were so comfortable I could not have been more satisfied. I will be back more now. read more
