Parking was free and easy. Once you get to the entrance gate, you'll be greeted by staff to show your admission ticket or buy tickets. It's reasonable priced. I purchased the admission with ride and getting a sunflower option. Service was fast and friendly. There's a station near the front to line up for the hay ride which approximately runs every 15-20 minutes. But my friends and I decided to explore other stations before doing the hay ride. There were mini houses and mini log cabin displays to check out. There was a mini kart race track that adults and kids can actually grab a kart and peddle around the track. That was a fun experience! There's also a okay ground that both kids and adults can play Through the courses.. Once we got through the stations, we headed back to the entrance to wait for the hayride. The hayride would bring us way back into the fields where you can see them growing peppers, sunflowers and pumpkins. We were dropped off into the sunflower fields to browse, take pics and then eventually able to pick a sunflower or flowers form the fields at the end per the packages we laid for. I had to leave early so I was t able to cut one for myself. But would love to come back another time to experience it again haha.

Lots of meat vendors, the pork chops we got were amazing. Also, many local honey vendors, flowers, as well as bread items. I cannot get over the bakery items. I was able to get a great sourdough round and some baguettes for dinner. My daughter loves these spicy cheddar rolls from one of the vendors (keep a look out for them). You cannot go wrong. It is in a central spot that makes this easy to get to, free parking and it is open fairly year round. As a tidbit, it is right next to my favorite coffee shop that makes a great Vietnamese coffee!!! PROS Free parking Lots of vendors, almost year round Great location Great people CONS Nothing, just go and enjoy the stroll

I have been to that one across the river, all I can say is they don't grow bananas in Minnesota. I have been visiting this place for decades, and I really love the way it is evolved well staying true to its roots. You need to have products that have been grown or made within a certain radius of Saint Paul. When I first started visiting, it was mainly growers, but as a farmers markets have expanded in the Twin Cities, some farmers have gone elsewhere. That means we are seeing more vendors of other types of food. People who forge mushrooms, people who make their own cheese. Bee keepers. The world's best pierogies. Tibetan dumplings. So many delights. It is bustling every Saturday and Sunday. It should be a weekly stop for everyone.

Have you ever had a weekend where you swear you were looking to spend spend spend? Today was that…read moreday. I grabbed a cart at the cart area as I walked in. I went to look for a rolling, plastic draw to keep supplies, lots of tape, bubble wrap, etc. Well, I went walking through to see everything. at his particular store address I had never been to. One man jumped out into the aisle and asked me if I needed help after greeting me cheerfully and kindly. I said, thank you, but I'm just looking around. I placed my purse in the cart and made sure it was visible. I was checking prices on my phone which I did take out of my clear to see purse to compare prices. Seeing that the price was cheaper else wear I continued to look at shelves. I did not see what I needed. I decided to check other stores in the area, so I decided to leave out of the same door as the one I came in and it also says also says to exit. I put my purse on my shoulder and thought should I leave the cart here for the next person at the door? No. I'll be kind and return it at the stack. When going out the door and alarm goes off. OMG! I thought my cart was stuck on the flat rug. I nearly push the back up trying to pull back and push a few times. Then , I noticed, the wheels froze at the doorway. Huh? I'm not even near the end of the property I thought. Until, one of the young ladies at the front desk runs over with some kind of remote and says, oh let me push this button. You're fine. Then, I finished returning the cart. I was upset. I did everything to let security see my purse. I practically walked in down the middle of the aisles. Empty cart. I was mad. I though I should not have to do this. Did the security take their eyes off me and decide to lock up my cart while I looked at items or when I walked in the door? I believe it was one of those. I know it was just for me, because when the alarm went off, a man walked right out the door with his cart and looked at my cart. I have to add, I am a black woman. Also, obviously there is a new way to stop grocery carts before people take off with the goods. I will never go there again. I did enjoy the enthusiastic guy in the back department in the middle. Thanks Sir.
