Cabin had kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, living room, screened porch and even a loft for an extra bed if needed. It was equipped with the little items you need for your stay. A/c worked great as the day was hot! Staff was friendly and do a great job keeping the resort looking beautiful. Tons of trees for shade and right on Schroon River so plenty to do in the area. They have a pool, horseshoe pits, playground, tubes for rent, and an activity zone. It's also just a short drive to town for food, coffee, things to do, etc. The best part is the store has little gifts for you to remember your trip! Definitely worth coming to if you're looking for a campground resort in the area!

The property manager, Harry, and other groundskeepers, were so attentive and friendly; checked on us periodically, always asking if we needed anything. We stayed on a "lower" site. It was spacious, shaded perfectly, easy access to water and electricity, and the view and beach/river access is a bonus. Even in late September, we were able to enjoy the soft, warm sand, and the cool, refreshing, clear water. The playground/play areas were a hit for my 4 yr old. Again, the cleanliness and upkeep of those structures were a pleasant surprise. I'm certain we'll be back!

This B&B has been reviewed very favorably on trip advisor and therefore we decided to stay here…read more however we were not impressed given the 250 per night price tag. breakfast one morning was meaty so my vegetarian husband couldnt even partake. the room we stayed in (one of the biggest) was dated. the magazines were from 2005. the fireplace was a nice perk but the innkeepers ask that we have them show us how to use it...but during the day (after bfast) they are nowhere to be found. the robes smelled like an attic. toiletries were samples of shampoo/conditioner that you get in magazines. it may be small things but for 250/night in a small sleepy town, i expect nicer amenities, even during the high summer season. walls are thin but this is maybe a problem in most B&Bs. the innkeepers are trying to sell the place, i learned, so maybe their passion is just not there anymore. also it is not right on the water. the views were pretty tho - faces the lake/mountains. i would not recommend to others. i think i would have given it 4 stars if the price fit the lodging. on another note, hague is beautiful. very different vibe from bolton landing and lake george village.

I've noticed many people who book here will keep booking the same time every year, just like our family. The family that runs this place is SO welcoming, kind, and easy to talk to. I haven't been to BLR in years but Michele always asked my family about me and finally seeing her this year was like no time has passed. It's comforting to know such a wonderful place is ran by wonderful people! Our cabin (#3) has the perfect view of the lake, my parents say they pay for that view if nothing else. Its even a beautiful sight on a cloudy/rainy day! Cabins are pretty clean and updated, nothing bad to say about it. Full kitchen. Heat/AC available. Wifi worked great. Super cozy. My bed was so comfortable, I slept great every night. Somehow, this place feels like home and paradise at the same time. Lots of recreation available: swimming area, playground, fire-pit, docks, canoes, boat launch, grills, etc. It's also about a 10 minute drive from the village! Blue Lagoon is easy to fall in love with, definitely stay here next time you visit Lake George!

I like it because you don't have to walk up or down a great big hill to get to the water. At night they have a nice bonfire to sit around and they provide all the wood for you. It's a nice relaxing family atmosphere . We have stayed in their cabins. They do a great job keeping everything clean and updated. ThereThere's a nice clean beach right there on the property. Everyone is always so friendly and welcoming. I look forward to our yearly trip!

Totally our fault, but the hotel still refunded our late checkout fee without me even asking, which was really nice of them. It's honestly such a charming place. This was my second time staying there -- I was there about 10 years ago and loved it then too. I'm already looking forward to going back next year. The location is also perfect if you're rafting with North Creek Rafting Company. It's about a 5-minute walk, which made things really easy. The Eagle's Nest had plenty of space for breakfast and just hanging out comfortably. I really don't understand the 1-star reviews. I guess you can't please everyone, but we had no complaints at all. The rooms were extremely comfortable and quaint. We enjoyed the common spaces that included a fire pit with a charcoal grill. There was a lovely outdoor structure with a stone fireplace and seating area that was being used by another couple. The lounge inside had a lot to offer and made us feel at home. If I'm Back in the Adirondacks I will be seeking out the other venues that the Weekender company has to offer.
