Hudson Region Transport was a lifesaver! They really helped us out with a late night call (after 11 PM) when no other cab companies were operational. I would definitely recommend them to anyone because of their prompt, professional response. read more

5 stars! Our train got in at 11 PM and another cab company (Northern) failed to show up. We were stranded, and THANK THE LORD Hudson Regional Transport was still open, and Paula was on site quickly to get us to our final destination. She was very courteous and professional, and we were so glad we weren't stranded! I will recommend Hudson Regional Transport to everyone I can! read more

This service is irresponsible, heartless and misleading. Never use them. My husband and I came to stay at Hudson for a friend's wedding. To enjoy the occasion and play it safe, we reserved a car to pick us up at midnight at the wedding venue, which was in the middle of nowhere. The lady reassured us that we will be picked up and we settled on a price and everything seemed great. There was no mention of a need to confirm later on in the night. Service was spotty at the wedding venue and I didn't check my phone since I was having a good time. I looked at my phone at 11:30pm and saw that I received a text message that was sent at 10:55 saying "do you still need a cab at midnight?" The text said "If we do not hear back we will consider cancelled by 1115" when I checked my phone it was 11:30 and i tried calling and i texted and with no response. There are no other taxi services available. Luckily, we received help, but the situation could have been much worse. read more

What a high quality regional taxi service serving the Hudson River Valley (Hudson Valley, Columbia County and NYC metro area and the airports). My driver this evening was a total professional who helped me deal with a difficult transportation issue (my car key wasn't working and I had to order a taxi at a late hour). My driver Jesus went out of his way to assist me at a late hour, responded quickly and politely and with a sense of urgency. Top quality...and noting that I had called four other taxi services who wouldn't or couldn't respond at the late hour on a weekend. There is a reason Hudson Regional Transport gets consistently high marks and comments -- because they are service oriented professionals -- from the minute they answer their phone through pick up and drop off. HRT goes to the top of my list and definitely will be my first choice for transportation in the area. kudos!! read more

In the past, Uber did not ever have any cars late at night for flight arrivals coming in later from the West coast. I reconfirmed with them the day before. When flights were delayed for arrival 40 mins later, Quality Rides driver sent me a text saying they were not going to honor my reservation and leave me stranded at Albany airport! They took away from their personal Christmas time with their family to make sure mine was picked up and home safe on Christmas Eve. They are a little higher than super shuttle or ubers, but definitely more comfortable and more reliable. They will always have my business when I visit New York and when my family flies to San Diego to visit me! Do not waste ur time on any other company in the Albany or Glen Falls area!!!!!

I am really not SF based but alternate between a house in Leeds and a home in NYC. I use Amtrak very often and the work on Hudson Station has limited my ability to park my car there since I am disabled. So this week when I came up on Amtrak I arranged for HRT to take me across the river and into the trees of Leeds surroundings. Everything went as smoothly as possible; driver was waiting, car was new and a/c working well, good driving and conversation. Compared to usual Hudson taxi services this one is a gem and should be patronized by anyone who wants reliable, comfortable, safe transportation. They also are in the 21st Century with a website and they use email for very responsive communication. read more

Best service around the Hudson area clean cars that smell good friendly drivers that are concerned about the customer driver even asked if the car was at a good temp. I was at our place upstate and needed to take train into the city, and wasn't sure which taxi company to use as I've used many that have proven unreliable. Enter Google, and up popped HRT, and I'm so glad it did. They were there early, super friendly and cover times that most cabs in the area refuse to do. So far (I've used them twice) I have only good things to say about this company. Prompt, reliable, friendly - with clean cars and reasonable charges. This last time they picked me up from the Amtrak station at 1.15am. Great to find a service you can rely on. I believe they also take credit cards. Would highly recommend. read more
