Coxsackie managed the transport for both the Friday and Saturday events for our wedding, and it couldn't have gone more smoothly. We had a complicated mix of both shuttles and vans, going to both hotels and AirBNBs, and they managed it exceptionally well. Our guests were so well taken care of, and all of the drivers were exceptionally friendly. Coxsackie Transport picked up our party of 8 from the Albany Airport late at night. Our driver Frank was helpful, personable, and a good driver. We were traveling with 2 small children and the company was prepared with 2 car seats for them. The Mercedes sprinter van was comfortable and clean. We were going to use Coxsackie Transport to drive us back to the airport at the end of our stay, but there were cancelled flights and a covid scare, so we had to cancel. Joy was very helpful and understood our situation and helped with the cancellation process. Overall, we had a very good experience and would use this company again. read more

We had a great experience with Coxsackie Transport providing shuttles for our wedding this September. They were very helpful and patient when we had a lot of route changes and pick-ups/drop-offs to make based on where people were staying. They figured out routes that included everyone without adding extra vehicles. Both drivers called the day before to make sure we had their phone numbers in case of any issues on the day. One driver even made a test run the day before to make sure he wouldn't have any problems getting up a hill at the venue. I would recommend them and work with them again! read more

My husband and I used Coxsackie Transport to bus our wedding guests to and from our reception site. All was well until the last 45 minutes of our reception, when a major mistake was made in the schedule we agreed on and required us begging a driver to come back for the remaining guests. Those final 45 minutes, my husband and I spent dealing with and stressing over this company's neglect of our contractual schedule. The next day we wrote our contact person to formally complain. What we received back was a brush off of blame onto their driver, who showed us the incorrect schedule that he was given by the company and a meaningless "good luck." They had already been paid in full so I suppose there was nothing to be done except spread the word. read more

Sad to see all of the less than stellar reviews here. Had a great experience working with Cox Transport. We got married at a barn venue in Cox and used Cox Transport to shuttle people to and from our wedding to our after party in Downtown Cox (used the 24 person bus). The office was very polite and professional (called to confirm our reservation, and such) and so was our driver. She had no issues constantly shuttling people around the local area, and overall they are very flexible about the run route. All you need to do is book them for a 4 hour shift. My husband also used them to shuttle them around for longer distances as he had his bachelor party in the area and used them to shuttle them from West Copake to Saratoga. They have a myriad of buses too - from small sprinters to bigger vans. read more

The inn where our daughter's wedding was held recommended Coxsackie Transport for a car superior to a taxi to meet a guest at Albany Airport to bring her to Catskill, NY. Lynne was the suggested contact person, the information was received, my credit card was to be charged for the fee plus gratuity, so my guest could complete the journey in comfort. The flight was on time, no driver by stairs holding guests name as arranged. Airport staff phoned Coxsackie Transport who said they had no booking. My cousin took a taxi, the charge was greater than had be arranged and I reimbursed her the price. Simply not a reliable service. If you want a guest from overseas to have a colorful story of upstate incompetence this is the company to use. read more

Until this morning, I have never felt the need to write a yelp review. I just wanted to share with you all what a positive experience I had with Coxsackie Transport. I woke up late this morning for a dentist appointment only to find that I had left the lights on in my car over night and my battery was dead! I immediately called a cab to try and rush me to my appointment. The woman who answered the phone was not only personable but very helpful in trying to make sure that I got to my appointment on time. When the taxi arrived the woman who arrived was so friendly even offered to help me jump my car!! As a woman living in a semi-rural area it is not always the most comfortable thing to call a cab because you don't know who will be there to pick you up. After today I can say that I trust Coxsackie Transport and will be recommending them to others! Thank you Coxsackie Transport!!!! read more

I don't write yelp reviews for anything, but I had to write about this. I called coxsackie transport at around 12pm if not earlier to pick me up on a Friday at 8pm. I called maybe 20 mins later and cancelled it because I found a cheaper cab company. They were charging $65 to go for a 29 min ride and another company charged $28. Monday morning I saw that they had charged me for the ride regardless. Spoke to a young lady who was telling me they charge for a last minute cancellation of $25. Which is ridiculous because it was 20 mins later, hours before the pick up time, not last minute. Then she said fine she'd refund it and hung up on me. Don't you think you might need my info girl. Rude! don't use this company. read more

My daughter got married in upstate NY this weekend and we used Coxsackie Transport to shuttle our guests to and from their hotels to the wedding venue. From start to finish, they were a pleasure to work with. Joy, our main contact, was very helpful and knowledgeable in helping us figure out what vehicles we'd need, the timing, etc. The drivers were professional, patient and always on time. I highly recommend them if you need group transport in the Hudson Valley area. read more

My experience with Coxsackie Transport was amazing. From the very beginning, Coxsackie was responsive and accommodating, and they made booking guest transportation for our wedding so easy and stress-free, especially since I was planning our wedding across the country in Los Angeles, CA. First, Joy, the person at Coxsackie with whom I made the reservation, was wonderful. She answered my initial inquiry right away, and every time I emailed her with a question, she always responded within 24 hours. As our wedding date approached, I soon realized that we reserved a bigger bus than we needed. Fortunately, Coxsackie was so accommodating and let us change our reservation to a smaller bus to fit our needs. We were so grateful they let us do that! Second, Mike, the driver, called me the day before the wedding to introduce himself and confirm the pick up and drop off of our guests. When I didn't return his call that night, he followed up with another call the morning of the wedding to ensure that he had the correct pick up and drop off times. We really appreciated the attentiveness and professionalism by Coxsackie's employees. Last, Coxsackie transported our guests to and from the hotel with no problems or complaints. We were so happy that they took care of our guests so well. Again, we had such a great experience with Coxsackie, and are so thankful that we were able to work with them on our special day! read more
